Can the stop-start be programmed to only work when up to temp?

I don't actually hate using the stop-start with the clutch, its intuitive because its connected to the clutch pedal. I don't like that it starts working 2 minutes after I started the engine when its cold. Is there a way to program the stop-start to only work after a certain water or oil temp? Heck, I wonder if it could be built into those stop-start eliminator cables...

And, no, I don't want to wait until its warm and turn it on every time I drive

Definitely possible.

Not something you can easily do in Forscan. You’ll need to program a microprocessor to listen to and talk on the CAN bus.

Toggle to Sport Mode and it auto disables. Some report success, some have not had the same luck with Forscan. Plenty to read on it if you search.

That’s weird. I feel like mine kinda does that. It certainly has a mind of its own when it comes to when/if it will activate. If you have the heat or AC on or any big draw it seems to grey out the A and wait until it’s at full operation.

Just push the button on the dash? Or just don't put the transmission in neutral until you're happy with the temps?

You can switch to sport mode or turn the switch on the dash off.
