Is there really a need for it? I accidentally made it to the Raptor Offrodeo building in my rental minivan attending the 2022 Vegas Offrodeo. Minivan is much cheaper and killed it on the trail.

I, by no means hate it. In fact I love the vehicle in the right color combination (white over red). My vote was based on my experience with my 2018 F-150 Raptor. Power to spare and a real head turner. However, everywhere I went it was a challenge to find a parking spot. When I did, no matter how far away, some chuckle-head would nuzzle in tight with a rusty old POS.

My pacifica limited mommy-van wasn't any cheaper and it is missing 4low.

The awd is magic.
I've added;
3"(ish) lift.
Toyo at3 tires.
Hitch mount full size spare.
Winch that mounts front or rear.
Lighting.
Compressor.
Changed out those awful shrouded lugnuts for one piece nuts.


Punchline:
The pacifica does everything a Filson/raptor owner will likely do, but my mommy-van holds a 4x8 sheet of plywood and 10ft 2x12's with the hatch closed.

I have succumbed to mommy-van function over Bronco-based fashion.

You can't scare me. I owned a two door Imperial.

I've never had an issue in a parking spot other than a cretin parking too close (even get-in-from-the-other-side too close). I would think being wider could be a bear, but longer and wider... Polar bear!

Personally I would go with the F 150 Raptor before the Bronco version. If funds were not a concern it would be the R version as well. Enjoy your Broncos regardless of what model you have.

It's honestly cheap for what you get, to replicate a similar setup on a standard bronco you're in for 25k~ after shocks, arms, cv's and fiberglass.

I bought flares for it, then saw the 1/8" of clearance when the rear door is open. I can add the front flares but will have to paint on the rear flares.

We've owned 5 f150 raptors, last one being a 37pp. Loved them all. We've also owned a 23 wildtrak and currently own a 24 bronco raptor. I have grown to love the raptor. Drove 1600 miles in it to participate in raptors on the rocks, four days of off roading in moab. Not many vehicles can pull a trip like that off as comfortably as the raptor. I didn't like the price, although I got it for over 21k off sticker,it may be wide, the flares may be ugly, etc, but I wouldn't trade it for anything else after seeing what it's capable of. Stop looking at it and take it off road and challenge it. You'll look at it differently.....

I respect it. It's got the chops. It is wide. Better handling, stability. I get it. Fenders don't bother me that much. The 7mt is too much fun though. I wouldn't give that up.
