  1. Bronco Raptor - Daily Driving Concerns?

Vehicle width is exactly why I didn't go with the Braptor this time around. I had a 2018 F-150 Raptor and don't get me wrong, it was an awesome truck to drive and a real head-turner but parking was tight and no matter how far away I parked, some asshat parked right next to me. I test drove a...
  2. Dash Cam Recommendation for 2026 Heritage?

FITCAMX. I had one in my 2023 BD and have one ordered for my 60th Anniversary. Simple install, great fit and finish and video quality is excellent.
  3. White/Red 60th Anniversary Bronco at Nemer Ford in Queensbury, NY

Fellow Bronconians - Just got word from my sales guy that he has another 60th Anniversary with a build date the week of 9/14. Currently, its scheduled for white/red however it can be changed to white/white if you let him know by next week. TO BE CLEAR - There is nothing in this for me. My...
  4. White/Red 60th Anniversary Bronco at Nemer Ford in Queensbury, NY

šŸ˜‚ I have a heated wheel and hood struts are less than $200 last time I looked. I had them on my BD. They were a ā€œwantā€ not really a ā€œneedā€.
  5. White/Red 60th Anniversary Bronco at Nemer Ford in Queensbury, NY

U P D A T E - This Bronco Raptor is still available in Queensbury. The black wheels and black top were not to my liking. And it stickers at $16k more than the one I bought.
  6. First coat of MAXL ONE (all-in-one waterless wash, polish, ceramic-style protective spray) on 60th Anniversary Bronco

Coat #2 is complete. As someone else mentioned, the first coat is the hardest. The second coat took about an hour and it looks amazing IMHO. Also, I’ve been in contact with Weathertech. They’ve forwarded my issue to their R & D team. I was actually a little surprised to hear back from...
  7. First coat of MAXL ONE (all-in-one waterless wash, polish, ceramic-style protective spray) on 60th Anniversary Bronco

Unfortunately, I did. Four holes lined up correctly and it actually looked correct. My first clue was when I had leftover hardware. Not typical with the weather tech stuff. I’ve used them many times before. Got them installed, tossed all the packaging and threw the extra nuts, bolts, washers...
  8. First coat of MAXL ONE (all-in-one waterless wash, polish, ceramic-style protective spray) on 60th Anniversary Bronco

On to another topic. I found out (the hard way) that Weathertech does not make mud flaps for this particular vehicle. I'd like to think I did everything I could BEFORE I ordered them. I reached out to customer service as their website makes no reference that I could find to "60th Anniversary...
  9. First coat of MAXL ONE (all-in-one waterless wash, polish, ceramic-style protective spray) on 60th Anniversary Bronco

That’s ok too. Please take this in the light hearted way it is intended. I’ve known me 64 years. I hate waxing. I have neither the equipment nor the dedication to wax a vehicle and therefore would end up doing a half-assed job. I could/would pay someone to do it but I do find a greater...
  10. First coat of MAXL ONE (all-in-one waterless wash, polish, ceramic-style protective spray) on 60th Anniversary Bronco

Just my opinion - first application is the hardest because you want to make sure you get good, even, coverage and all the bends and curves. I keep my ā€œproduct onā€ and ā€œproduct offā€ microfiber towels separate. The ā€œproduct onā€ towel never really dries out. When I want to do a quick buff, grab...
  11. First coat of MAXL ONE (all-in-one waterless wash, polish, ceramic-style protective spray) on 60th Anniversary Bronco

I’ve never liked waxing. Talk about too much effort. I would pay someone before I did it myself. I hate it that much. This is the least aggravating process I’ve found and I’m very please with the results. If I wasn’t so tired, I’d do a second coat today.
  12. First coat of MAXL ONE (all-in-one waterless wash, polish, ceramic-style protective spray) on 60th Anniversary Bronco

It’s a lot of work for an old, fat guy but I got the first coat of MAXLONE applied. I really like their product.
  13. Badge Removal Damage?

I would think it depends on how long they've been on. I removed some badging from a Jeep I had and the paint was bleached enough you could see the difference.
  14. White/Red 60th Anniversary Bronco at Nemer Ford in Queensbury, NY

U P D A T E - Mods and first impressions after 48 hours of ownership. 1) Set tire pressures. Way too high from the factory for my liking, 46 psi. Dropped to 40. 2) Installed Weathertech mud flaps on the front. Rear flaps apparently are not available. 3) Removed trail sights/tie downs. It...
  15. White/Red 60th Anniversary Bronco at Nemer Ford in Queensbury, NY

I did it. Simple process. Three bolts each. The ā€œblanksā€ are extremely well made.
  16. White/Red 60th Anniversary Bronco at Nemer Ford in Queensbury, NY

Thank you. I appreciate that. I’ve grown to love MaxlOne.
  17. White/Red 60th Anniversary Bronco at Nemer Ford in Queensbury, NY

Tranquility Base, the eagle has landed. Love it!
