Would the ranger be taller than a stock badlands sasquatch when you get the " right " coil overs in?

Great stuff @BigMeatsBronco ! So the Ranger Raptor UCAs and LCAs work with the stock knuckles? Any idea on what's needed for the coilovers, tie rods, and CVs to make it work?

I know it won't be Braptor amounts of travel, but it will probably be enough for me.
Additionally you could upsize to the ranger Raptor knuckle and rotor and calipers and have a 14 inch front rotor instead of the Broncos 12-in.

The Bronco has a special magnetic ABS encoder film inside the front wheel bearing. This is completely different than the other style of ABS sensors that have been available for many years. This presented a problem when upgrading to a one ton unit bearing, but after searching around and begging a few people I was able to get a set of unit bearings that are based off of a F550 front axle, with the broncos magnetic encoder installed, and the Broncos 6 lug pattern on the flange, and a true 35 spline input! Of course the unit bearings flange bolt pattern was different than the F-150 pattern on the new foutz fabricated uprights. So I sent them off to the machine shop and had them bored out to size and the 4 bolt pattern changed.

While I was at it I had the Bronco Raptor front rotors center bore widened, and the pattern change to the 6x5.5. This also would be a considered a braking upgrade as the new rotors are 14 inch versus the Broncos 12-in rotors. I'll be using F-150 Raptor calipers and caliper brackets.

Excited finally to bolt this stuff up it's been a while waiting for the parts to arrive, it was a 6-month wait for the unit bearings alone!
While I'm close to being finished, I still have many things to accomplish. I plan on using a RCV custom stub designed for spidertrax bearings.

ill likely use the new Foutz coilover buckets for the F-150 that he offers.

here's a few photos

This is beyond awesome and have been following along the whole time. I would also love to make my 2 door a mini Raptor but don't have the amount of resources that you have.

To clarify your comments about the Ranger Raptor, you mean it would be possible to bolt the UCA, LCA, Axles, Tie Rods, Knuckle, brakes to a Bronco and get 1" wider track and more travel?

Correct . although The Ranger Raptor is approximately 1.3" wider PER side. So almost 3" total change

Seems that if that is the case, there should be a lot of aftermarket options coming out soon for Ranger Raptor upgrades and even long travel.

Are the new Rangers and Broncos global platforms? That would also help with quantity for development ROI.

Should also be able to pickup some OEM replacement parts from Doorman or MOOG for control arms, axles, tie rods, etc from AutoZone and Pepboys soon enough.

From Ford Parts online:
2 Knuckles (MB3Z-3K186-E)
2 UCA (MB3Z-3085-D)
2 Upr Ball Joints (MB3Z-3050-A)
2 LCA (MB3Z-3079-C)
2 Axle shafts to replace shorter shaft (MB3Z-3B436-D)
2 outer tie rods to lengthen (MB3Z-3A130-H)

Total would be $1,930. Figure you can reuse the hubs, brakes and a bunch of the bolts and nuts.

For the shocks and springs, guessing the Sasquatch stuff could be reused or whatever aftermarket you already have on vehicle.

Dont need the knuckles unless you want bigger brakes. (and also keep factory swaybar)
the 2 UCAs come with ball joints installed. so it's even cheaper. the ranger Raptor has a much larger disk brake, so the caliper mount s, calipers, and padds are all different IF you use the RRs knuckle/uprights.

So how much more travel will the RR parts provide?

I wonder if the rear axle with watts link from the RR can be adapted to the Bronco also. Ford should have given the Broncos a watts-link from the getgo.

Car and Driver (Dan Edmund) does a Ranger Raptor suspension deep dive, and I don't think you can re-use the Bronco suspension, the connection to the LCA is different so you may need to change your shocks, regardless of them being OEM or aftermarket. It is a through-bolt system like the rear shocks. Or am I missing something?
