Hi all.

Please beware before purchasing the ReadyLift SST 3" Lift:

The UCA contacts and damages the OEM coil spring when the suspension articulates, especially at full articulation. Disconnecting the sway bar increases the amount of rubbing/damage.

ReadyLift acknowledged the issue. Claiming that with their "economic kit" (this one), rubbing is "normal", "not uncommon", and that this kit is intended for "normal driving conditions", and meant simply "to clear larger tires." They also dismissed the metal on metal rubbing and chipping the springs as not a safety concern. Overlooking the fact that some live in the PNW. Others may live with severe winter conditions. Rain, snow and salty roads are part of many daily lives. A chipped spring and constant friction between metal on metal will cause corrosion in just a short amount of time - especially if you live in a place that gets rain 165 days per year.

Their website under the product description states that this lift is designed for both on and off-road use. And there should be no issues "when the suspension articulates throughout the entire range of travel on and off-road". The problem is that this claim fails to address that the UCA will contact the springs. This is the reasoning behind my claim that it constitutes false advertising, or at the very least, not being completely transparent.

ReadyLift proposed solution is to pay for an additional $1,500 out of pocket for an ‘upgraded’ set of ReadyLift UCAs, or return the current kit for a refund. Both in which the costumer would have to pay for the shop labor.

Their last and final solution is an upsell: pay $3,000 for another kit, OR send the lift kit back for a refund, provided that the original purchase order is also sent to them. Neither solution covers the costs of the original installation or the subsequent labour to remove their current kit.

This may make some reluctant to accept it, as it seems a way to quietly resolve the situation without, at the same time, providing a real and permanent solution to the rubbing.

My intention is just to bring awareness.

Sorry to hear that. Thanks for the info and the heads-up!!
Wow sad to see a company not support their product
Yeah... I'm incredibly disappointed with ReadyLift. Both for their misleading product descriptions and, more importantly, for their complete lack of accountability. In all my years off-roading, I’ve never encountered this kind of experience with any other company. This is a first.

I've relied on products from companies like Teraflex, Falcon, Apex Design, MetalCloak, RCV, and even Rough Country, and they’ve always backed their products with integrity and excellent customer service. And I gotta say, I've never encountered this type of engineering problem with their products. Never.

This is my first time with an IFS vehicle, and sandly I fell into what now feels like a scam. Trusting a company's advertised product details and expecting that they would stand by their design if any issues.

Sad times we are living...when a company would rather score $1,500 than do right by its customers. It says everything about their values!

That position of the upper control arm the suspension is at full articulation to look like that. That isn't with a load.
well I got that - just clearly it's at max with direct contact. actually curious now if that is with or without sway bar

Hi all. Please learn from my (and others') experience before spending your hard earned money:

I installed their SST 3" Lift (advertised as compatible with the Badlands and Sasquatch trims) on my Bronco Badlands. The result? The UCA contacts and damages the coil spring. Disconnect the sway bar, and things get even worse!

Upon contacting them, they initially tried to blame the installation, stating that the top hat must be rotated 180 °. A well-known offroad shop sponsors me, and the installation was properly done with top hats rotated per the installation manual. Still, to rule out any doubt, I paid the labour of two other shops to verify. Both confirmed the installation was correct.

After that, ReadyLift changed their story, now claiming that the rubbing is normal, not a safety issue, and that the kit is suitable for "normal driving." - I mean, seriously?
Their own product page explicitly states that it's designed for both on AND off-road. After multiple unanswered calls and emails, their latest proposed solution was to have us pay out of pocket an additional $ 1,500 for an ‘upgraded’ set of ReadyLift UCAs. Which we would still have to pay for replacing them without the certainty that it will resolve the issue. Not to mention the thousands of dollars spent getting multiple "professional" assessments to convince them their product is the problem.

So Basically:
"We sold you a flawed product, but if you pay us more money, we might fix it."

Unfortunately, I am not the only one and other members are reporting the same problem. This is a clear design flaw, poor customer service, and zero accountability.

My advice? Steer clear of ReadyLift!

Their products are questionable with false advertising, their support is dismissive, and their business model appears to be: sell an issue, then upsell a solution. Save yourself the headache - go with a more reputable brand.

Just my two cents but hopefully it saves you a few thousand dollars. Have a great summer!

I'm a ReadyLift Dealer and we've had a few customers have us install these.

The big question I have for you is WHAT shocks came on your truck? Did your truck come with Fox shocks? If so, the ReadyLift SST kit is NOT compatible with your truck, which is why your installer had an issue.

Here is a photo of a customer's truck we hooked up. He DOES have the Fox shocks BUT one of our partners MACHINED the correct adapters he needed to use with his shock system. Zero complaints, he loves it.

I used there top hat spacers and have plenty of rubbing but I expected it, 100K miles and the paint ain't even missing from the spring contact area. Different UCAs didn't help. so I returned the UCAs. but kept the spacers...

In ReadyLift's defense...I would assume that the kit is designed to be used w/ OEM coil oversmaybe they could have mentioned that.

In OP's defense...for sure not impressed w/ their response.

Not sure what OP is running for coil overs but obviously too much droop. CV angles must be maxed as well.

His photos show a yellow shock, presumably Bilstein.

That's what I noticed too but always gotta ask. Im not as familiar with the various factory options and what they look like.

Also, I'm curious if the OP's Bronco has all original suspension components OR if he had upgraded anything in the past, which may have interfered with the ReadyLift kit.

This is the first time i'm hearing complaints about the ReadyLift kit. I'm also curious what part # the OP ordered. Maybe he didn't get the right kit for his truck (but the shop claims he got the right part?).

I'm also curious if the OP (Audiomate) actually bought this OR if his truck CAME with it when he got it (used truck). He posted on 2/18/2024 that his bronco CAME with this lift indicating that he might have bought a used truck that CAME with the lift already installed...

I installed the kit a few months ago. No issues at all on my Badlands SAS.
