I heard somewhere that Ford is going to release a new Ranger Tremor trim in late 2026 but have yet to see it available to order.

If that is a Raptor, that is the Keeper for sure. ZR2 Vs Raptor recent test - Raptor won out

I was asked if I had to decide between my 2026 Ranger or my 2024 Bronco, and had to keep only one, which one would I choose?

Here is the Ranger:

With 405 horsepower, and it being new to me, it has the advantage.

Here is the Bronco:

It is a 2-Door with the 2.7 twin turbo and a quite rare Bronco with the Badlands Package and the LUX package. 4-Doors are most common. In 2025, this package was only available in the Stroop Edition, which with the color scheme, it looks like a candy corn with blue mold on one end (opinion).

The Bronco is definitely better for rock crawling off-road parks, which this one has proved worthy.

The Ranger is still capable off-road, but in a different environment as opposed to the Bronco when it tries to prove itself.

The Bronco handing is kinda mushy... the Ranger is more planted.
The Bronco is more fun to drive off-road, and the Ranger is better on road.
The Ranger is quicker.
The Bronco is cuter.

If I had to pick only one, I would pick the Ranger Raptor.................. but I will NEVER get rid of the Bronco!
I do love the Bronco and always look forward to driving it.
Easy: The Bronco. The Ranger is not available in a 2-door configuration.

100% agree. While I've been a Mustang guy since I was about 5 years old, the current S550 just missed the mark for me. I don't care how good the performance might be it just doesn't look good imo. The Camaro is even worse.
The early S197 (2005-2009) was the best interpretation of the original Mustang. I owned a 2006 convertible. Although if you think that the plastics in the Bronco are bad, you should have seen the interior of that generation. I then replaced the 2006 with a second generation S197 (2010 - 2014), a 2011 GT California Special convertible. Interior plastics still weren't great, although slightly better than the previous.

The 2011 was replaced by a Shadow Black Roush Stage 3 Phase 2 convertible (727 hp). An evolution of the retro theme, and still a better interpretation than the Fox bodies and the SN95. Bigger improvements in interior, although there are still hard plastics on the doors and other various places. In addition to the supercharger, it also has adjustable coilovers, it's lowered and also has the active exhause, along with some cosmetic upgrades to the interior and exterior. The thing is a beast, and it commands respect. It will easily snap on you if you're not careful. I often joke that it's the one car that feels like it wants to kill me if I'm not careful.

Having owned many beautiful cars on their exterior and interior looks alone Id rank S550 as one of the best looking at any price point. Has to have sport suspension and wheel offset that deliver just tye righyt amount of poke while being tucked in.

I am still awed at the pics of my black S550 convertible by the mountain lake on forged alloys. AM Vantage is another beauty.

If it were me Id keep the bronco or get raptor version and a trailer for hailing as well as a soft top and get rid of the Ranger.
Pictures of my Black Mustang below, stickers and all. Black looks great for about 10 minutes after you wash it. After years of trying to maintain the Mustang and my CTS-V Coupe, also black, and my girlfriend's black Chevy Malibu, I swore I would never own another black car.

As I have often said, Black isn't a color, it's a relationship.

As for the original question at hand, I used to have an F150 that my son drove. It was handy to have around and my other son owned a 2019 Colorado ZR2 as well. Nice truck and rode very well, but I don't think I could have one as my only vehicle. I like the Raptor Ranger, a lot, but when it came down to replacing my aging 2012 BMW X5, I went for the Bronco. I also needed moar doors as the Caddy and Mustang don't work well if you have more than one passenger. The back seat in the Mustang is basically for show, and while the back seats in the CTS-V are a bit more usable, you'll have to visit a chiropractor after trying to get in and out of it.

I'm feeling stuck making a similar decision. Swap my current Bronco for a Ranger Raptor or one of the leftover 2-door Stroppes.

I don't take my top entirely off ever, and I don't take off the front panels as much as I'd like. Wouldn't mind the extra storage and oomph the Ranger provides. And there are times the cabin noise in the Bronco gets distracting. But there's something about a 2-door Bronco I feel like I can't quit. Really just need a truck that gets to me any trailhead or ski slope, and both can do that without issue.

I am aware of that but they are being delivered. Unfortunately, at a very slow pace.
I hope you and everyone else that has been patiently waiting gets it sooner rather than later. It's been 5 years. 2030 is 3 1/2 years away.

Since that Bronco is an automatic, might as well pick the Ranger.

Could be because I'm on my second Bronco but... I'd have to pick the Bronco. When I was much younger, I had a two tone grey ranger extra cab with a manual transmission. I loved it. Had a bed liner and had a friend of mine make a custom canvas tonneau cover. Dressed it up with some chrome wheels and a set of Cooper Discoverer RWL tires. Sweet ride. After having an F-150 Raptor, driving a Ranger Raptor made me feel like I was in a Yugo. I loves my Bronco.

So everyone has their own needs and wants, and none of them are wrong. I need 4 doors and I often need the cargo room of a truck bed for carrying bulky things. To me the advantages of the Bronco are a little more rear-seat legroom and the availability of a stick shift. The Ranger wins on utility, and the fact I can get a Ranger Raptor halo model for about the price of a lot of Bronco configurations.
