I heard somewhere that Ford is going to release a new Ranger Tremor trim in late 2026 but have yet to see it available to order.I am keeping my 2 door BL SAS LUX, cause my daughter confiscated my Ranger Tremor - ;(
Easy: The Bronco. The Ranger is not available in a 2-door configuration.I was asked if I had to decide between my 2026 Ranger or my 2024 Bronco, and had to keep only one, which one would I choose?
Here is the Ranger:

With 405 horsepower, and it being new to me, it has the advantage.
Here is the Bronco:

It is a 2-Door with the 2.7 twin turbo and a quite rare Bronco with the Badlands Package and the LUX package. 4-Doors are most common. In 2025, this package was only available in the Stroop Edition, which with the color scheme, it looks like a candy corn with blue mold on one end (opinion).
The Bronco is definitely better for rock crawling off-road parks, which this one has proved worthy.
The Ranger is still capable off-road, but in a different environment as opposed to the Bronco when it tries to prove itself.
The Bronco handing is kinda mushy... the Ranger is more planted.
The Bronco is more fun to drive off-road, and the Ranger is better on road.
The Ranger is quicker.
The Bronco is cuter.
If I had to pick only one, I would pick the Ranger Raptor.................. but I will NEVER get rid of the Bronco!
I do love the Bronco and always look forward to driving it.
The early S197 (2005-2009) was the best interpretation of the original Mustang. I owned a 2006 convertible. Although if you think that the plastics in the Bronco are bad, you should have seen the interior of that generation. I then replaced the 2006 with a second generation S197 (2010 - 2014), a 2011 GT California Special convertible. Interior plastics still weren't great, although slightly better than the previous.100% agree. While I've been a Mustang guy since I was about 5 years old, the current S550 just missed the mark for me. I don't care how good the performance might be it just doesn't look good imo. The Camaro is even worse.
Pictures of my Black Mustang below, stickers and all. Black looks great for about 10 minutes after you wash it. After years of trying to maintain the Mustang and my CTS-V Coupe, also black, and my girlfriend's black Chevy Malibu, I swore I would never own another black car.Having owned many beautiful cars on their exterior and interior looks alone Id rank S550 as one of the best looking at any price point. Has to have sport suspension and wheel offset that deliver just tye righyt amount of poke while being tucked in.
I am still awed at the pics of my black S550 convertible by the mountain lake on forged alloys. AM Vantage is another beauty.
If it were me Id keep the bronco or get raptor version and a trailer for hailing as well as a soft top and get rid of the Ranger.
I am aware of that but they are being delivered. Unfortunately, at a very slow pace.
I hope you and everyone else that has been patiently waiting gets it sooner rather than later. It's been 5 years. 2030 is 3 1/2 years away.I am aware of that but they are being delivered. Unfortunately, at a very slow pace.
