I would think the 93 tune would run good if driven in a way that the vertical pedal on the right is not wearing out the floorboards. But if that is the case, why tune it?

But with all things, the more efficient a system runs, the better it does at all levels.

With the E85 tune I get about 250 miles a tank with the 4 door. I don’t drive it like a grandpa either 😄 E85 costs around $2.79 a gallon here.

Ha yeah I just heard of peoples MPG's being better after the pro cal tune so I was curious. I know it's definitely not the purpose of the tune but I was considering a tune to help offset the MPG loss that comes from all the broverland additions.

Thanks for sharing @Ducati1098. It’s encouraging to see some folks push the performance edge.

I came from a 392 Challenger 1320 to the 2.7 Bronco. it’s amazing to have big horsepower on tap. There is no substitution. I don’t think the 2.7 is a slouch but there is room for improvement.

Who gives a sh*t about MPG’s. We own bricks on wheels and more HP equals more smiles per mile.

Please keep us updated. And damn, being in the beta group sounds like a missed opportunity for sure. 😎

@Ducati1098 damn this is just slowly tempting me to pull the trigger on this. Awesome result and congratulations.

It looks like it's pulling timing at about 4k rpm, is it the tune or is the knock sensor causing the dip (especially when compared to the E85 tune - which is smooth as silk).

If I had to guess, I think it was because they forgot to turn on the fan for that run 🤦🏻‍♂️, so it may have been a little hot with no air flow. Unfortunately I wasn’t running a log at the time of the pull so I can’t really tell exactly.

Although the stock calibration file looks similar just a little sooner, so it may be just the tune.

Are you running E85 or E30 (30%E85 + 70% 93 octane)? What tune are you using? I run E30 on a JB4 tune, love the extra power, but haven't found a 100%E85 tune that could be swapped to 93octane when E85 isn't available.

Full E85. Same 400 WHP ZFG tune that Ducati1098 is running. I just swapped over to my 93 tune using the HP tuners device. Only take 4 mins.

I think he’s waiting on HP Tuners to get it working, but feel free to reach out to him and ask. That said, the 2.3L in the Bronco is DI only, so it may not have enough injector/pump to push full E85. I think the 2.3L in the new mustang is dual injection so it should support it.

I already emailed them this morning after your post :)

Q. Would their tune add to my existing JB4 tuner or replace it? If it replaces it does it provide for Water Methanol injection and nitrous oxide control like the JB4?
