Might seem a little odd but Central MO Jeep (CMJ) is having a topless event this Saturday. Starts @ 10am at the Pierpont general store. I joined awhile back but havenāt done any events yet. Obviously pro-Jeep but most seem cool with the Bronco too. We plan on being there.
LOL, we look up to? Pulling up a chair. Responses might be froggy and entertaining.
While I dislike the Raptor graphics personally, I do appreciate some of the color variation you are offering.
Got thinking about duty cycles. Couldnāt find any data about them on Warnās site so I called. They told me they didnāt publish that data for the āhobbyistā winches (pretty much all vehicles, lol) but they did have it for their industrial winches. They reinforced to feel for heat and stop when...
Perfect, thank you so much! Really helps put my mind at ease. Thatās not bad at all.
Nice rig! š
I did go ahead and order BAMFās relocation kit. It includes the bracket that gets installed by the battery and also extra heavy gauge wire. Was going to skip but Jerry encouraged it.
A few...
Yeah, very pricey. But someone with the shop and fab skills could do for lots less.
Donāt discount what youāve done. It is amazing! Only the second rear winch install Iāve seen on B6Gās.
One questionā¦.could be the camera angleā¦but do you have to remove the rear tire or swing the carrier open...
Me too, me too. š
I talked with Stellar. They were willing to do another but I had to drop my Bronco (approx 2,000 miles from me) and work was by the hour. Itās all custom and intricate stuff. The front included a skid plate and also custom mounts for crash bar removal.
*Approximate* estimates...
Not sure if the owner is on this forum but I stumbled onto this via YouTube. Since then, saw him post a couple times in some FB groups.
He did custom fab and bumpers and ran ComeUp winches.
Tried linking the videos but they are now private. Short version they too had to cut and fabricate the...
Resurrecting this thread to see if you have an update on this statement. Currently in the market for a bikini/safari top. Hesitant to get mesh as I want some rain protection. Like the connection method of the JTops solution
Back when I had my Jeep TJ, I had a Bestop bikini which was a 2 door...
Appreciate the picture. The ends look near the same as my capable. Obviously it gets a little thicker in the middle where the winch is located but thatās to be expected.
I have the Overland style so plates on the ends instead of tubes but think the profile is the same. Helps provide some warm...
Would love to see a side profile pic along with measurement showing how far it sticks out. My stock capable is very tight, 3ā or so. I know it has to grow some for winch placement but love how BAMF keeps it as tight as possible. Still, that is an element Iām most nervous about.
Also I am glad...
I found a higher resolution picture of the AFe/RJ specialty axle back exhaust. You can zoom that photo and see details more clearly.
More interesting is the AFe site has a sound clip of this exhaust which Iām also sharing here.
Found both the enhanced photo and sound clip on the AFe...
Good you can pull for space, but when we travelā¦playlists and jam sessions are part of the experience & fun. Iāve got to imagine the sound is quite different w/o the subs.
Regardless, still one of the nicer builds Iāve seen. Congrats!
Also curious if AFeās cat back hi-tuck exhaust will work? I think @mpeugeot is running this as I bookmarked it from a different thread.
It looks like it may fit in the pics. And there are some audio clips that others can make their decisions as sound is *very* subjective to each person.
And...
I appreciate the response. I wonāt lie, I like the idea of going to 37ās. My hesitations areā¦
1. I will certainly want to regear. The added weight and torsional load of the 37ās will be noticeable to me. I envision 5.38ās.
2. My 23 Badlands has the stock SD rack. I will run it until it breaks...
Hey Matt, just beginning to scratch the surface and looking for some guidance. I have a 23 non-SAS Badlands. Currently on 17x8 +55 OEM wheels and 33ā BFG KO2ās. All stock suspension.
Currently have a BAMF winch bumper in fabrication (will be about 100#) for the front. I will couple with a Warn...
FYI @Tricky Dick has a tie rod kit with tools and everything.
https://td-distributing.myshopify.com/products/bronco-6g-tie-rod-repair-kit?variant=44004231807230
Did your BD start out with Squatch?
Also, probably a dumb question ā but if your tie rods fail, it saves the rack. I see you plan to upgrade the tie rods AND also install the bushing kit. Iāve not done a deep dive but my question/concern is if the bushing kit (plastic) provides enough ābeefā...
