Ok I’m at the edge of my patience. So fed up with shops and the techs they employ. I paid a National brand independent shop to perform an alignment because I was wearing the insides of the front tires, rotate and balance. When I got my truck back they had not even removed the wheels from the truck (and yes, they had the wheel lock key) when I got my Bronco back, the steering wheel was 10-15 degrees off center. It took them 4 attempts after that to get it straight. When I recieved the alignment sheet that day, the truck showed quite a bit of negative camber.both before and after the alignment. The shop manager explained it’s due to my lift. My Bronco is not lifted but that didn’t stop him from arguing that in fact it was. I decided to take it to a Ford dealership because surely they can handle such an easy task. Nope. It’s questionable if they rotated the 4 tires on the ground but definitely did not rotate the fresh brand spanking new spare off of the tailgate as it’s still in its original position. I had to ask for the alignment sheet and this is what I got. Can anyone confirm their truck came from the factory with too much negative camber and that there was no factory adjustment left to correct it? I am struggling with this concept of a factory stock truck rolling with maxed out alignment cams and still exhibiting negative camber. Now I do have a winch on the front and can see this adding some neg camber from weight. But I can’t see how that is so much it cannot be compensated for. And finally the truck vibrated the whole way home as the “Balance” was still off. And I’m out of pocket 500.00 between these two shops.

If you added a winch and didn't change the front springs at all, I can definitely see it messing up the alignment and possibly to the point where it can't be compensated for. Your before numbers are kind of meaningless with the winch added if you were wondering where the stock alignment was.

I comprehend your point but I still don’t believe these is not any adjustment available in the stock alignment settings.

SAS doesn't have a lot of room left to adjust camber without a set of aftermarket UCAs

Looks like they aligned per Sasquatch specs which does have a raised suspension when compared to non-sas. I'm pretty sure a non-sas OBX w/ OEM suspension is going to have different specs.

I’ll be adressing that today. The first shop I can forgive as they are not a dealer with access necessarily. But in the dealers case I redacted on the photo but they used my vin number which should have given them the correct settings in that case.

Yep, VIN should give them the right specs but the sheet states w/ squatch.

@Ducati1098...can you confirm if alignment specs are different between squatch and no squatch?

Yeah they used the wrong specs. Using non-sasquatch specifications, the camber is borderline correct. If anything it needs to have a little less negative camber, but it's close.

Even using the VIN, they still have to select the correct trim. The alignment machine wont do that on its own.

Thank you all so much for your input. She is back at the dealer today. Hopefully they’ll get it all ironed out.
