Hi guys,
I'm scheduled to receive my 2dr base Bronco non-sasquatch next week.
I know you will diss me (and I respect that!!) but I'm looking to build what people call a mall crawler! It's sad but This truck will probably never put a wheel out of pavement.

I'm looking for a C/O spacer kit (only for the look) of 3" or 3.5".
I'm not familiar with this type of mods. Can someone tell me if the rough country 3.5" kit (including UCAs and other components) worth the price difference with the Icon 3" spacer kit?

does one of these kits are more suitable for a 2 door model (2.7l automatic)? I read that the icon kit doesn't really gives a true 3"additional height?

i'm looking to ride 35" tires on negative offset wheels. By your knowledge should I go with the 3.5" rough country kit for the little more clearance I might obtain?

thanks for your help guys!

A 2" Lift should clear 35s fine. This would be a little higher than the Factory Option Sasquatch Suspension.

IMO the 3-3.5" Lift would be too much with 35" Tires.

agree. I’m going with 2” billet ready lift. II have rc on my frontier, but their bronco offering looks cheaply made.

A lot of people seem to be overlooking gearing these days. The Base has a rear axle ratio of 3.73:1. I ran 35's on my JKU with the same gear ratio, and while it was fine around town, at highway speeds it was constantly gear hunting and down shifting at the slightest grade increase. No fun at all.

I posted in another thread for someone seeking the same advice and just wanting the look without the capability, skip the spacer lifts all together. Instead, spend a few hundred more and shop the forum marketplace for takeoff BL or Squatch coilovers. This will give you the height you are looking for as well improve your ride quality and not hurt it. And stick with 33's.

If you’re looking for a 3” lift, the icon one is pretty well thought out. It splits between a top load and a preload spacer.

will say 3” lift on 35s looks kinda funny IMO

I'm also coming from a JKU with 35. I totally agree about the weird gear shift at higher speed.
I wonder if the Bronco 10 speed tranny will increase of decrease this problem...?
