................................... Without the 4 door Bronco there would not be a 2 door Bronco today.

I see this posted many times. Last time I checked the Bronco was only a 2DR until the 6G. So technically there would be NO 4DR Bronco today without the achievements of the 2DR Bronco of the past.

And there would not be a 2 door Bronco today without the presence of the 4 door Bronco because it wouldn't be financially feasible.

Just wait until GM releases that 4 door Corvette to make it financially feasible to produce!

GM has produced a number of 4 door vette "teaser" show cars over the years.

GM already got rid of the manual option for the Vette
I suppose it’s a race to see what goes extinct first. Manual transmissions, 2 doors, or internal combustion engines. Fortunately my newest vehicle includes all three! 🦖

I have both a 4 Dr Heritage LTD and just got a 2Dr Badlands. I like the agility of the 2Dr and turning radius. And, it just looks correct.
Don’t like the manual seats, how awkward to move front seat to get into back seat, the rear seats don’t lie flat and are higher than cargo area and the headrest seems to lean more forward than the 4 Dr.

I sent a couple of trustworthy students (seniors that I have known for several years) to get something out of my Bronco. Their comment when they returned was, "Why in the world would you get a stick shift!?!!"

"So you were hoping to hop inside and go for a joy ride, but you couldn't?"

Not too many people comment on the 2 doors (some, but not too many). But everyone gets passionate one way or another about the manual transmission when the find out I have it.

They are either totally stoked that I love and appreciate driving enough to have a stick and give huge kudos to Ford for offering it.

Or they think I am an idiot weirdo for having it. 🤪

Even last year at my oil change and tire rotation, a former student came out to talk to me because he saw my name on the order. I asked if he had done my service, and he said no, but he had to pull it in and out of the bay because the tech didn't know how to drive stick! 🤪

Based on these and other casual observations, I worry the manual transmissions will disappear before 2-doors will. For tons of these young people, having only 2-doors is just an inconvenience, but having a stick shift is a crisis they can't overcome. 😘😘

A salesman at the dealership might be able to talk some empty nesters into taking a 2-door that is sitting on the lot even if they came in thinking they wanted a 4-door, especially if they still have some other 4-door to deal with carseats the rare occasions when the grand kids visit. But the salesman probably won't ever be able to talk somebody into a manual who can't drive stick.

I, too, am super happy that Ford let me buy a 2-door, manual, ICE truck! Almost 20 months and almost 20,000 miles later I still smile when I see my Bronco waiting for me, and I still grin a lot while I am driving. 🥰

Yes, the rear seats are higher, but they do lie flat if you flip the seat bottoms up...

Same with the Jeep... mostly 4 drs... people want the space.
Yeah, but (JMHO) the 4 dr Wrangler looks better than the 2 dr Wrangler while the 2 dr Bronco looks better than the 4 dr. And, IMO, it's not just looks. The 2 dr Wrangler looks tiny while the 2 dr Bronco has a presence with SAS. The 2 dr Rubicon with 35s looks good online, but I have yet to see one in person. Obviously, buyers do want the space of 4 dr.

Yes, they lie flat however not flat with cargo cover. Is there an accessory to create a completely flat rear area ? I realize I would lose a few inches of vertical in cargo area.

Before the 6G was announced, I was looking into getting a 2-door Wrangler. It is TINY! And the 4-door Wrangler is a giant monstrosity. 😜

I remember when the first details about the 6G measurements came out. It was very interesting that while the 2-door Bronco was significantly larger than the 2-door Wrangler, the 4-door Bronco was actually a tad bit smaller than the 4-door Wrangler. 🤔

Goose Gear makes a rear seat delete kit if you don't mind losing the rear seats that gives you a flat floor. If you search the forum there are a few guys that made their own.

Yes, removing the seats gives you a nice flat area.
