They aren't really even trying, though. Unless you have exactly three kids, the 2-door works in every situation the 4-door does. The 4-door does have a lot more cargo space, but our very first trip in the Bronco was a 5-day, 4-state, 3 adult, 1 pre-teen journey. Everything fit, everyone was comfortable. We all took turns in the back, and I found it perfectly fine. So we had to climb in behind the front seats--no big deal. Probably 95+ percent of the time, people are driving alone or with no more than one other person, anyway.Most 4 door owners secretly admire our 2 doors. Many have even told me this.
"If only I could make it work in my situation" is quite common.
