Maintenance day.
Tracked down a clunking noise, it was the passenger upper control arm bolt had come loose. No more clunking now.
Disconnected the sway bar links, they are to short with the Zone 2.5” lift over SAS. The Fox shocks came back to life with the sway bar links disconnected.
Changed diff oils and transfer case fluid at 32k. Fluid colors looked good, nothing smelled burnt and only a few tiny specks of metal.
Feeling good knocking all that out this afternoon.

I’m pretty deaf and the wind noise is so loud I probably will never hear a little rattle…
Installed a flow master fx axle back system, straps for my LO to get in the back seat.

Installed the JCR Offroad tailgate reinforcement yesterday and finished the job in the middle of the thunderstorms that rolled through. I needed the additional clearance around the spare before installing the pile of parts and bad ideas sitting in my garage.
Once the spare was remounted I was already soaked so I grabbed a bucket and sponge and washed the truck in the rain. It was long overdue and made me feel like I was living out a country song.

Do they make one for the 2-dr, or did you modify to fit? Thanks.I just got off (technically tomorrow) 3 weeks super light duty after a week long hospital stay so I installed the MtM flip down attic shelf I bought off their scratch and dent page (still expensive) because ya can’t have too much extra storage in a 2dr…it really does utilize some wasted space, and is well built.

Changed my rear differential oil. Looked good yet and little to no wear on the gears.

I installed a pair of Mountains2Metal tailgate flag/antenna mounts and used them to mount Diode Dynamics SSC1 Sport yellow flood lights as rear chase lights.
The wiring was probably the biggest challenge. Instead of running everything through the firewall, I followed the factory wiring harness from the rear quarter panel to the passenger footwell. From there, I tied into the factory upfitter wires that run to the engine compartment and connected them to AUX 3 and AUX 4.
I left the factory upfitter wire that runs to the rear untouched for future accessories. Instead, I ran two new wires to the tailgate: one for the bright chase lights and one for the low-power amber backlights.
My reasoning was to keep AUX 1 available for a future front light bar and AUX 2 for work lights, leaving AUX 3 dedicated to the rear lighting and AUX 4 for amber DRLs all-around.
