Went to the coast to escape the wildfire smoke. Then just had to do some night beach driving to test the new ditch lights. Sadly forgot to bring the tools needed to fine tune their positioning. Thus ensuring another night drive. Darn.

Ocean Shores!

Cleaned off last weekend’s trail dirt and changed the color on the KC covers.

On the way back from Lonesome Lake near Greenwater, WA

Found an amazing deal on factory rock rails that I replaced my factory hoop steps with. Also added some KCs. Then parked next to a cool old truck.

Drove by a 4 door for scale.

Just a couple hours early.

Got 22.5mpg on a 125 mile drive to the beach. Drove in some sand and fog. Hung out with family.

Best is subjective. But to be honest I didn’t even notice the post is old as hell and for a 2.7. I have a 2.3. So ignore me. :crazy:

Thank you for sharing this! This was my exact plan for whenever I get lights, I just hadn’t had the time to check the clearances behind that piece. Glad to know it works.

I swapped the stock tires out almost immediately, so I never really had a baseline. I’m sure there was a decrease though.

Would I need to remove the crash bars to fit those?

I have 285/70/17 on a 2024 Big Bend with stock suspension and no issues. I do light off-roading, still have the crash bars installed, and have not run into clearance issues.

KC is what I’ve been looking at. Just feels right on a Bronco.

Solo trail ride today. Debating some lights because I really want to go out at night.

Went where the cell service went away. Touched dirt, rock, and water. Ate lunch with a view.

The Spot Hero app is pretty good at listing the heights of the garages. I use that one often when going into the city.
