  1. What Are You Doing to Your Bronco This Spring/Summer?

Installed RTT, building out a utility trailer for camping w/RTT. Heading west in June (ND, MT, WY, UT, AZ and back to MN). MN state park camping. Will post pics of my build later.
  2. In LOVE with the Bronco! Want to leave car...

I left my 35mpg Mitsubishi Lancer for a 21 Bronco Sport, now a 22 Bronco BD manual. Best mileage I can get is 22mpg. I love driving this thing, everyday, 30 mile one-way commute. Sometimes I wish the ride was longer. Been cross country twice with it, 3rd coming in June. I am used to the...
  3. Freespirit Aspen Lite Rooftop Tent

Finally installed my Aspen Lite. Not an easy task, especially the middle cross bar. Too tall, can't fit into my garage. I dread this fall when I need to remove it for the winter.
  4. Which do I pick?

I was all over the board when the Bronco was announced, Base, Big Bend, Badlands. Decided on the a 2-dr Black Diamond. Never looked back. You, starting college, new Bronco, college buddies will be wanting you to drive all the time. 2-dr limits the crowd, wash-out interior for those that...
  5. Freespirit Aspen Lite Rooftop Tent

Yours seems narrower than @BIGJIM setup. Looks like his has more side overhang, which makes me think it's the XL version. Could be my eyes too. Thanks for sharing, looks good. I'll be installing mine this weekend.
  6. Freespirit Aspen Lite Rooftop Tent

I did all the RTT research... The Aspen Lite is supposed to be 49.5" wide (XL is 57.5"). I haven't actually measured it though, sitting on tables in my garage. Waiting for the time and weather to cooperate. My garage door is 82" tall, it's not going to fit in my garage, I don't think. Stock...
  7. Freespirit Aspen Lite Rooftop Tent

I recently purchased the FSR Aspen Lite, for my 2-dr stock rack. Haven't had a chance to put it on yet. I also have the wind deflector from BadAss Tents. Jim, as @Davespeed mentioned, your's looks like the XL version. Or maybe it's the angle. Seems like a lot of overhang. Awesome setup though.
  8. 2 Door RTT - options for 2024

I have the FSR Aspen Lite 100-110 lbs, OEM Bronco rack. Haven’t installed it yet.
  9. What did you do TO / WITH your Bronco today? 👨🏻‍🔧🧰🚿🛠

Purchased the Ford OEM 7-pin trailer wiring harness and brake controller, dealer installed. I installed the Curt hitch receiver. Purchased a Lowe's 4'x5' Carry-On trailer, gonna build it out for camping, RTT and gear. Trailer in its original state.
  10. 7MT owners, do you use 5 or 6?

Stock Black Diamond non-Sasquatch 2-dr. I use 5th if going over 50mph, 6th if over 68mph. I usually shift up at 26k-30k rpm's. Turbo registers in 5th if going up a hill or giving it gas. Turbo in 6th if against the wind or slight uphill, doesn't take much for it to kick in. I kind of...
  11. What do you have wired into your auxiliary switches?

See avatar pic 1) Rough Country ditch lights a-pillar and top of bumper 2) DD light bar 3) DD pocket spots 4) DD pocket white fogs 5) DD pocket yellow fogs 6) DD amber backlighting for 3-5
  12. Non-OEM Glass

I had a cracked windshield from a rock. I have full glass coverage with Allstate, they used Safelite to do the glass replacement. They said they were required to use an OEM replacement because of the sensors etc. My replacement has all the Bronco logo's etc. No extra charge. Not like the...
  13. The Look Back

Almost two years later and I still look back, especially if I did some sort of mod. Have to check it out as I walk away.
  14. First official photo - what’s yours?

When I picked it up @Granger Ford, Aug 2022!
  15. What did you do TO / WITH your Bronco today? 👨🏻‍🔧🧰🚿🛠

Nice that you're using the OEM rack. May I ask the weight of the iKamper please? I went with the FSR Aspen Lite (2-dr) but haven't had a chance to put it on yet.
  16. Include the spare in tire rotation?

Every 5k miles oil change and 5-tire rotation. Currently 42k miles and these General Grabbers still have a great amount of tread on them. When these 32's wear out I'm moving up to 35's.
  17. Amber vs Clear Aftermarket Lights

This is my opinion (living in MN with snow, rain, fog...): - Yellow fog lights (not amber) lower in/on the bumper pointed towards the road to light up the road during snow etc. - White lights for ditches, driving. - Amber backlighting more for looks. This works for me.
  18. Anyone running 2 lights on the front bumper?

Rough Country OSRAM Wide Angle on the bumper corners (and A-pillar), run by one aux switch. DD 30" lightbar run by one aux switch.
  19. Bronco Letters on Eruption Green

Got the shackles on Amazon. Closest green I could get then yes I did paint them EG. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B097P53T1J/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1
  20. 2.3 failures / issues. Post the issues you have had

After a couple thousand miles I thought maybe I heard something, so very faint, on a cold winter morning. I can't really say if it's the same issue. With it warming up here in MN I may have to wait until next winter to listen again. Wish I had a better answer for you.
