2 yrs/23k on mine and they're still good - hate to jinx myself though. I live in the south so we don't get the same abuse from winter salt/grime, etc.

Did you thread the preload collar upward so far that the measured distance exceeded 84mm up front? I think they warn not to exceed that or 110mm in the rear.
No sir we are and measured correctly when installed. We are at the top of the range tho to clear 37’s with the stay bar disconnected.
Yikes. That’s not good. If I were doing it again (at budget), I would get 4WP/ProComp 2.5 Coilovers instead

Would rather save for something better than both tho
I almost went with the 4wp setup as the early ones people claimed good reviews. But I found these on sale. Should have just went with the rebuildable 4wp. I could have resealed and charged them myself and had no issues.

Yes the winter salt spray is brutal on things.

gotta use wool wax. My factory Billie’s have 3 winters on them and hardly a rust stain. Now on threaded body coil overs, it’s a huge pita to remove the gunk so you can adjust them, but it’s possible.

Lot of how long and how well shocks work is related to the setup. Lot of people are pushing Eibachs beyond what they are ment for, they are sas Bilstein replacement. If you blew out a SAS Bilstein, you will blow out an Eibach.

Putting Eibach Stage 2 shocks on my F150, I am able to hit speed bumps at 35-40mph with full composer but that will kill those little shocks if done daily. I really like how Eibachs ride, they are a great shock just not the right shock for everyone. Stock Bronco suspension can easily outclass any 2" shock just around town.

They are great for slow rock crawling and daily pot holes.. Not suited to pre running Baja. Love ours on and off road. 2 years so far. Hope they don’t fail.

Same. I think they've been great. I'm off-road several times each month and they've held completely fine. I will upgrade at some point for no real reason, but I've been completely satisfied with the Eibach's and HD springs.

Both my rears recently blew (and I agree with the poster who said they are pretty scary when they do! I've also seen the traction control light come on a lot). I had to go through the vendor, but Eibach have said they will send warranty replacements for both (mine are ~18 months old, so within the 2 year period), but they are backordered to the end of the month, so I'm still waiting.

My rears blew as well. The rear left puked oil all over my driveway. I submitted the warranty claim 2 weeks ago. Eibach forced me to go through the vendor. Was told they were shipping out and never got a tracking. Followed up and still nothing. Pretty frustrated with the customer service seeing the previous post on them being backordered. Would be nice to have some transparency. I am tempted to throw my stock shocks back on and add a 2” lift to them or just purchase the 4wp coilovers. I only offroaded 2-3 times. I really need something that is going to be somewhat reliable. If doing it all over again, I don’t know if I would have bought these.

Well that’s a shame. Over 2 years on mine with no issues yet.
That being said. We have service trucks with King shocks and King won’t replace them for warranty, we have to send them in to be rebuilt and returned which takes a week or more and is horrible customer service for shocks that are very expensive.

Daaamn batman.. a company that springs for kings on their service fleet better pay its employees nice annual bonuses lol.

Get what you pay for......
Lol wat? I can't tell if your comment is sarcasm or not. Dude spent close to 2k bucks on shocks made by one of the industries most well known and quality companies.. getting a measely 25k out of them is unacceptable.

What's the going rate on quality shocks in whatever world you call home?

Honestly, I thought throwing $2k at these was a lot when I got mine 3 years ago. But after blowing out two separate sets of them (I’ve been through 8 of these shocks)… I don’t think they’re “quality” (both of my sets lasted ~20k miles)

I was waiting to switch to the new Eibach’s with reservoirs, but… those still aren’t available for the Bronco (and I’m glad my second set started failing before they released those)

They’re perfectly fine for leisurely driving around town, but anything more than that… they just won’t last

They’ve soured my opinion of 2” shocks. I don’t understand why 2” shocks are a thing for a vehicle like this (other than being cheaper)

You can get better performance out of the 4WP/ProComp 2.5’s for less money

I’m on 8112’s now and the difference is night and day. I feel silly for having put the second set of Eibach’s on beforehand

That's.. just.. really disappointing to hear.

Eibach has always been a company that engineered & sold products that made the end user feel as if what they bought was of a higher quality than what the pricetag reflected.

Very good bang/buck ratio I guess to simplify.

Enshittification sucks.

Lets all hope that Bilstein will stay on making good shit for the everyman..

$5-10K for quality shocks IMO. I tried several sets of Koni and Bilstein B6 on Mustang blowing thousands and maybe 40 hrs in shop before going back to OE. I won't touch any aftermarket dampers unless at least $1K each.
