Car wash etiquette please

Anyone use the drive through car washes that some Costcos have?

Five gallon bucket filled with water and auto soap. A soft rag and a pressurized hose at the ready to rinse off the vehicle once soaped. Modern drying chamois and your rig will gleam. Yes I realize it is manual labor but if you really try you too can accomplish this rewarding task. For those who off road their rides the handy dandy pressure washer works wonders on the underneath spaces. Again you will be a tad sore later that evening but knowing you dod this yourself will soothe those aches….as will a beer or two. If you live in an apartment then you are forced to the car wash. Enjoy those broncos.

Don't forget that the owner's manual states not to take the MIC top through automated car washes, and recommends low-pressure water and a cloth to wash it.

Well aware...but given how many issues there are with the MIC top, do you really want to risk it?

These threads go off the rails sometimes but that keeps it interesting. I use the auto car wash touch-less all the time for my Braptor. No leaks and MIC top is all good so far.

I just think an under roll is speedier in emergencies. Pull down the right way and u get half the roll

They also recommend for you to be a giant if you are going to wash your Bronco.

Oh no, because with the under-roll, sometimes there's nothing hanging down to pull. With the over-roll, you just give it a slap and it self dispenses.

I've always used the brushes on the paint. They're much much softer than the snow brushes I also use on the paint.
