This reminds me of people that put toilet paper the wrong way
I still don’t know which way is right. I think if the TP is close by I want an under roll.

Definitely under roll if cats are in the house.

This is right when storing the brush
Ford Bronco {thread} {filename}

This is wrong
Ford Bronco {thread} {filename}

That is my PSA for today
I disagree.. I say it should be the other way around. My reasoning... Everytime I switch to the brush and its facing outward it always gives a little pre spray and shoots its load at me :ROFLMAO:

I cringe when I see people use those brushes on paint.
I agree but I do use the brush for my top, wheels, and interior (washout).

if it faces into the wall when you walk by it it does not coat you in slime and by the looks of that brush its not touching my car.

You should also give it a spray with the high pressure nozzle to clean the gunk off of it if you really want to do it right.

I normally don't use the brush on my cars, but I had a full body "self-healing" PPF applied on my Bronco, so I've made an exception with using the foam brush on my Bronco, mostly in the winter.

My other two cars are strictly hand washed, as is the Bronco during non-winter months.

I also agree with hitting that brush with the spray before using it.

I'm not as worried about which way the brush faces, so long as it's on the hooks - I will ONLY use it on my tires and maybe my rims (albeit gently) to get brake dust off, because god knows what kind of dirt and rocks could be hiding in there.

TP goes OVER the top. Look up the patent on it, it was ALWAYS intended to go over the top.

That said, an argument can be made for the Cat problem, as well as the potential of a spider hiding out in there...but those are paper-thin arguments. :crackup:

The only time I visited those things is to spray off salt and then rinse with the deionized water in the winter if I have a ton of salt and no time to wash at home. The last time I did though, the spot free rinse wasn't working so I rinsed as well as I could and got out on the road and up to 60-70 mph to blow the water off. Got home and ordered a deionizer for ~$60 so now I don't ever have to go back.

Love the deionizer - if I get pulled away while washing I can just give the car a quick rinse and pick up where I left off later!

I’m thinking of doing this too. What kind did you go with?
Vevor. I also like it for washing exterior windows on my house, and can't wait to use it on my camper because that's a real pain to dry!

Why? Those things are fully lubed up with soap solution - crazy amounts actually. And the bristles are soft. I've never had an issue using them on my Bronco 'Scratches' or my 2013 Miata "Stripey".
