38x11.50?Since we are showing off pizza cutters

Yes, from my other thread38x11.50?
I've got at least 15K until I can lie to myself and say I need to replace my 265/70x17 Falkans. I'm thinking 255/80x17 but you and @AARDVARK122 might yet convince me to go 255/85.I was hoping for the pizza cutter look when I got the Falken WT 255/80/17. Now I need to wait another 50k miles, then upgrade to the Mickey’s 255/85/17

No lift, crash bars still on.I've got at least 15K until I can lie to myself and say I need to replace my 265/70x17 Falkans. I'm thinking 255/80x17 but you and @AARDVARK122 might yet convince me to go 255/85.
How about a side shot? Any lift?![]()
Not really sure that translates to the off-road world. At least not with this size vehicle.205/75r17 would be pizza cutters. 215 at the most.
Exactly. 12" wide are typical for 35's so to get anything with a smaller width like the Kenda Klever at 10.5" is considered a "pizza cutter". The Mickey T's in 255/85 even more so with a width smaller than 10". It is all about ratio. Not really sure that translates to the off-road world. At least not with this size vehicle.
205 are 8.1" wide 215 8.5" back in the day narrow tires were on all the pick ups and my dad's friend's late 60s Wagoneer that dragged his boat and us down to the beach in Plymouth. Letting air out of the tires was the norm for traction when needed. The tall narrow tires made the pizza cutter look. All those tires above are rather wide to be a 'pizza cutter'.Not really sure that translates to the off-road world. At least not with this size vehicle.
I hear you. However a 28" tall tire isn't going to get many of us down the trails that we run. And an 8" wide by 35" tire isn't exactly common place. Our 10, 10.5 and even 11.5" wide tires are much narrower then what is common these days.205 are 8.1" wide 215 8.5" back in the day narrow tires were on all the pick ups and my dad's friend's late 60s Wagoneer that dragged his boat and us down to the beach in Plymouth. While I agree with you 100% , I've also learned to just let it go ... let them run with it.205/75r17 would be pizza cutters. 215 at the most.
