I never thought this thread would get contentious. I just thought I’d catch some shade for not understanding my engine. I’m stupid and naive 😁

There is no boost. I’m stopped,, parked and just idling. I am leaning towards the cooling fan answer. It makes the most sense with the information everyone is providing. Still feeling stupid.

So y’all are saying it’s not important to let the engine idle until it hits that decreased idle noise? What is that change? A minute after putting it in park, there’s a significant shift in the idle. Why??

A Base works great right out of the box. Easy to moderate off roading shouldn’t be a problem.
