Is there a way to change the factory sway bar disconnect to be controlled manually with an AUX switch? I imagine the trickiest part is making the computer not know the SB is there.
I don't know that anyone has figured out a way to fool the computer in a ESB-equipped Bronco. I know there were a lot of people trying, but once you disconnect the ESB the computer kinda freaks out about it. Non-ESB Broncos it's obviously not an issue.

If someone has, would be interested in hearing. I don't have one, but just for Community's sake.

Use the as built from a non swaybar disco model and move the wires to a switch.

That won’t work unfortunately. The swaybar has its own dedicated module. There’s no logical way of “deleting” it from every other module that’s expecting the information from it.

I thought someone used an asbuilt from a wildtrack on one... maybe I dreamed it... could you gut and stuff the electronics from one and hook a different one? (I just did this with rear seatbellts).

People have tried it, but nobody has got it to work.
Maybe if you changed the As-built data on a bunch of different modules to a Wildtrak (or any other model without the chassis control module) it could potentially work.

But there’s multiple modules looking for information the chassis control module is sending out. Miss a single one and it will set a fault likely disabling the whole system.

Yeah with all the ”nannys” and glitches I almost wish I hadn’t gotten Sasquatch at all…i have replaced everything except the axles and 4a transfer…could have bought rear 60 and front 220 with5.38s (on switches) for less than Sasquatch package and the only thing missing would be 4a which I really like, but I could live without if need be…

haha funny, I was thinking the exact opposite. I’ve got Raptor level money sunk into my Big Bend by now.

I don’t regret a dime of it though - all good learning experience, which was what I was really after. And I probably can’t quite hang with a Raptor but I’d like to think if I knew what the hell I was doing I’d get pretty close.

When I’m not cursing and getting super frustrated, I really just enjoy building stuff and tinkering. If I was going to leave something (mostly) stock I’d get a raptor trim package.

I just don’t like how wide the raptors are but I guess in reality with all the folks running “tons” these days it doesn’t really matter, but it would still go against everything I believe to have 4 doors…

Thanks for all the responses so far. Appreciate it. Seems like it is good to have and used.

Someone mentioned offrodeo due to my neophyte status: I definitely plan on it. I saw they have a "bring your own bronco" option if I don't buy new (currently not planning on that with the current stop sale). I go by the Moab location on sr128 all the time on my trips. Unfortunately, due to life events, I will be on my own most/all the time.

Other mentions of the elec stab disc potentially malfunctioning or such issues (water in it). I have not come across that so far in all of my reading here. Is that remotely common?
When you buy your rig, even used, check to see if the previous owner used the credit or not.
If they didn't & it's still within the time frame, you can use the credit.

It would be hilariously expensive and impractical, but I bet you could keep the module connected but stick it somewhere out of the way, and add a second ESB.
There might be some middle ground between that and a shunt, but it's pretty much a sealed unit as far as Ford is concerned.
