Also, behind the center armrest (for rear passengers) there is a lighting module there as well....not sure if 4 doors had this in previous years?

This should make upgrading older MY Bronco's easier with direct replacement part numbers now...
Yes, ambient lighting front and back on my 4-door '25 HE, with 7 colors to choose from.

Thats cool that ford gave the color option. Did they add rear under seat lights? or is it still just the front foot wells? All fords that have color changing lights still keep light blue in all the switches etc they do not and have never changed. As for the part numbers, theres many different fords that the color change lights were in, I use the F150 part numbers because theres sooo many F150s out there. as for adding this from the factory with factory harnesses, if the bronco is built like all other fords, I highly doubt youll be able to just buy a factory harness from ford and put them in. You guys have alway been able to put color change in the front foot wells you dont need me for that. getting the part number for the passenger side and drivers side color changing lights from a bronco might be a good idea though. I dont have access to them but theres gotta be a ford parts guy on here somewhere. My harness strictly gives you the option to add the cup holder and the rear lights.

are the rear floor lights coming form the center console like my fusion and explorer do? or are there actual lights under the seats now?

Dunno if you need the harness now? Wasn't it needed for the F150 light modules?
May need @Ducati1098 to run the numbers. It may just be a matter of switching LED's and Forscan.
Some type of wiring will still be needed for older models without it.

I honestly have no idea which models come with this type of color changing ambient lighting, not something I’ve looked into. Was this just changed for 26MY?

Very possible they’re all wired for it now (if it isn’t aready a standard option across the models) because I can’t see Ford using different body harnesses.

I can try and find the part number for the lights, but it may be difficult if it’s new for 26. Usually takes a while for the parts catalog to catch up.

Edit: Nevermind. I see someone else commented that their 25 has it, so I guess it isn’t that new.

I dunno - I'd probably just leave the light blue color that came as a default anyway. If it did a 'rotational' color change, I might use that just to annoy someone.

I always ised blue in Mustang that had unlimited color choice for instrumenta and ambient, seperately.

Anytime my wife drives my Bronco, she complains that letters PRNDL don't light up next to the shifter. It doesn't bother me because I know it from feel, but I guess she likes the visual confirmation. I have to admit it's odd that they are not illuminated. The gauge cluster lights seems like a holdover from tree-mounted shifters.

As I tell my young (not yet legal) son learning to drive (he's actually driven competently off-road since about 11 YO):

Don't look at your shifter.

1. Do it by feel
2. Look at the main display. It keeps your peripheral vision properly around the outside of the vehicle.

Bingo! There is a big "D" in the instrumentation, if you're driving heads up.

Thanks I will use this guidance to help my wife with the TV remote also - I'm sure that will go even better.
