So I've been on an interesting journey with my Bronco. I first bought a 2024 Wildtrak and as I was taking delivery, washed and ready to go, I felt a good amount of water on my lap. Dealer said it was just water left over from the wash that ran down as I opened the door. I was skeptical, but took delivery. Wanting to be sure, I washed the Bronco the next day and found water leaks in both front and passenger sides, soaking the seats. I took it back and the dealer's service department determined it needed to be taken to the body shop for "straightening". To the dealer's credit, they said it shouldn't be my problem and offered me an identical replacement. I thought all was well and asked them, just to be sure, to wash the heck out of the roof and be sure no leaks. They did, said all was good, I came to pick it up (it was dry by then) and I took it home. Washed that one... no wet front seats! But... tons of water in the cargo area. Took it back and they said they had seen this a lot and the factory said a new roof was required, so they ordered a new roof. Replaced that... took it home, washed it (again, garden hose, no high pressure) and it now leaked over the front passenger side. The dealer explained that the new 2025's had a new top design and I was basically offered to trade my 2024 WildTrak in for a 2025 Badlands with the new top. Several new features seemed attractive to me and I basically had to pay for the upgrade (this was a Sas Badlands with Hoss 3, so it was more money). Paid the difference and away I went. I washed it heavily and no leaks! ...until now. 500 miles on the odometer, it was left out in the rain... and the front passenger seat is wet. The leak is coming from the same place as the other Broncos, the top of the A pillar where the airbag cover seam mates with the top of the door frame plastic cover. I had never taken the roof panels off, so I don't know what changed, but here we go again...

It’s now back at the dealership for this leak. What in the world is going on? For the record, I don't use a power washer. I don't use high pressure, just a garden hose, though even if I did, one would think it would be okay to use those. The rain was a good summer soaking, so it rained quite a bit. But my god, I should be able to take a $70k vehicle in the rain and not get wet. I know a lot of guys will talk about how its an offroad vehicle and not to worry about it, but I just can't do that. Especially with wanting to take trips and not have my wife complain about needing an umbrella to go with me. It's just nuts. That's /three/ Broncos in a row that leak. Two with the MIC tops and one with the new white fiberglass (I assume based on the resin smell) version.

What gives? Is anyone else having this kind of luck?

Both 2024s were MIC and the new 2025 is white fiberglass painted to match the Bronco (see sig)

I’ve noticed wind noise has increased after removing and reassembling the roof a few times though
I only had to take mine off once to get more wind noise. I'd love to know how the factory is able to quickly align them. They must to avoid slowing down production.

I assume it’s going to have wind noise as the rubber ages. And compresses.

Part of a 4 piece roof.

It shouldn’t leak though.

No leak but lots of cracks on the drives side panel and below the glass in the back, on both sides. I pointed this out to the dealer a day or two after I took delivery. Sadly, I gave them a 5 Star review before I noticed the cracks and have not received 5 Star service for the repair or new top.

My '25 painted black MOD top leaks exactly the same as my '22 MIC top did. Drivers side right above the windshield.

No leaks from the beginning.
Over this summer, my top has been removed completely and reinstalled about a dozen times.
Still no leaks.
Wind noise is still just as loud as the day of delivery.
However, I do hear more gasket squeaking than when I first got the Bronco.

I suggest silicon lubing all weather stripping and seals then adding a secondary foam tape strip on any flat degreased surfaces interfacing weather strips.

It's just sloppy tolerances to start the variable tolerances on reinstalls.

$70K is the new $20K when comes to quality haha.

Same but I found my wind noise declined and top squeaks went away after cleaning the road dust off the gaskets with a damp microfibre and then doing a light application of Sil-Glyde to them.

I didn't get any a-pillar leaks until I switched to a Bestop softop (and later a Sunrider top) -- out of frustration with ongoing clamshell leaks which my dealer was unable to solve.

Instead of waiting until it rained, I poured a small glass of water into the windshield drainage area to see where it was running into the a-pillar. While I couldn't see exactly where the water was running, I decided to jam small chunks of spongy cushion foam underneath the window rail bracket (where you see the smaller arrow).

Whether you have a slightly different Bestop bracket, or the OEM hardtop window rail bracket, this area along the side proved to be the solution for me. Just use a small slotted screwdriver to jam a bunch of foam underneath these brackets, then test your results using a small glass of water.

Worked for me, and hope it does for everyone else as well.

I honestly expected mine to leak, but nothing yet... even went through an auto car wash, no leaks! I've only had it a couple months, I've R&R'd the top about 5 times already....there's like 6 miles of seals on this thing! I did apply silicone grease on every seal surface I could, to try to keep them soft & conditioned. I suppose it's mostly luck of the draw, plus I have a 2 Dr., maybe that helps. But bottom line, it should not leak! Good luck OP....

What silicone grease did you use and can show me where you put it.
I have a 2025 B/R and I have never removed the top but I want to be ready to apply the grease when I remove it.
