Doesn't matter for the next 4 years.
"........ enacted on July 4, 2025, eliminated civil penalties for noncompliance with federal fuel economy standards. Specifically, Section 40006 of the Act amends the language of the Corporate Average Fuel Economy (CAFE) statute to reset the maximum civil penalty to $0.00"
im not sure if any auto manufactures will really be able to do anything like "put a v8 in a bronco" in that time frame though, if im not mistaken they would need to run new crash tests with the v8 along with all the redesigning to put the v8 in which will likely take longer then it should when you have a team of engineers poking at the design. i could be way off, i just think its a stretch to think that the bill will affect things as we hope it would in the time frame it has before it inevitably gets reversed. happy to be wrong though for sure, i think emissions standards have become way to crazy.

has the alternator been relocated to a better/higher place to avoid mucking up its internals??
I am going to say no, there are options, but I dont think it moves it enough.

No, but when the planning was done, Ford couldn't know that.

If they make it emissions compliant, I'd love to know Ford's actual reasoning for not offering it from factory.

With that said, it's cool but I still don't see the need aside from to appease my caveman V8 noise desires.
I would imagine it has to do with their CAFE numbers.

hell I am stuck on a Gen2. I had a Gen1 swap car but sold it couple years ago. I may get a Gen4 thing or something but I am waiting on FP for some stuff.

First, whoever is saying they want a 289 over a Coyote is really old... In 66 a Bronco with a 289 only had 200hp. The 289 wasn't even close to the best variant of that engine, at the VERY least you should have said naturally aspirated 351w.

Second, bro who said "all that turbo crap" needs his head examined. Turbos are FREE power and make an engine MUCH more efficient power to size. It's like what, 3 extra moving parts per turbo, the turbo/compressor/shaft assembly, the waste gate, and a blow-off valve, with piping (an intercooler is just piping that dissipates heat)... A Coyote with turbos is the ultimate way to go. Wait, a Godzilla with turbos........
