I’m all for a V8 special edition.
. But I’d also like to see the Coyote 5.0 as a general option on all trims. Nothing insane, just an option.

I've owned 2 Coyotes and if it had been available on the Bronco I would have bought it.I’m all for a V8 special edition.. But I’d also like to see the Coyote 5.0 as a general option on all trims. Nothing insane, just an option.
All Im saying is it's not worth the extra cost. Honestly how often will you do things with your raptor that I can't do with my rig? Im guessing you literally never will.I've owned 2 Coyotes and if it had been available on the Bronco I would have bought it.
Yes, MT (me too)!!I want whatever has the 2 door and manual transmission.

Check your response above. I'm quoting the response that you responded to with the second comment. But, heh, it's bragging points in the mall lot.
Now if the Raptor had a V8? THEN it would be worth the extra coinage

Yep. Only live once, so I plan to continue to enjoy it and the glorious sound of a well tuned V8 would give me the warm and fuzzies all over. After reading this thrilling thread, Fast forward 50 years and most of us will be long gone or getting our butts wiped by our kids or strange care taker and scared to even drive to the neighborhood grocery store on Sunday morning. I say be happy what ever that may be EV or fuel guzzling smile maker.
Amen Brother!Yep. Only live once, so I plan to continue to enjoy it and the glorious sound of a well tuned V8 would give me the warm and fuzzies all over.
For those who have and/or love their EVs, great! It’s a free country and if you’ve want an EV you should have one, but instead what had happened was the powers that be force fed them to us and some of us just don’t always want a salad, some of us want med rare steak. Even further, maybe that steak may kill me quicker, or maybe it won’t.
All I know is, I’d rather fewer years with a steak smilethan a salad smirk
on my face. It’s a free country ain’t it?
I get that now with my 2.7 (at least that's what the computer saysEdmunds did 20mpg lifetime and 25mpg best. If I got 19 city and 22 hwy in a hybrid Bronco I’d be stoked and that seems doable.
That's what they told me when I was 18 ....I'm 62 nowwhen there's maybe 4 years of gas left out there
Not only that, they took $ out of everyone's pocket and gave it away to EV buyers who are themselves disproportionately well off.For those who have and/or love their EVs, great! Personally, I don't understand the appeal either. First priority for me is a manual transmission, but if a manual wasn't available and I was forced to buy an automatic, I rather have a hybrid automatic than an ICE.I guess I’m in the minority wanting a hybrid powerboost Bronco. I’ll take better gas mileage and more power please. A Mustang sure give me a V8 but a Bronco I don’t understand the appeal. Maybe it’s living out west where fuel range matters.
