You gonna go with short axle tubes to reduce the cv angles?
This is awesome, although I believe we have different definitions of “fit”. :ROFLMAO:

It's hard to say whether that diff or chainsaw bar is more impressive but go BMB, you big lumberjack!
Didn't even notice that. That's a big boy chainsaw right there

Wow! Just totally Wow!.

Been using East Coast Gar Supply for over a decade. They are awesome, and if you get them on the phone, they can do a lot more than it appears from the web-site too.

Something that I'm betting has already occurred to you, But does a standard Dana 60 pressed steel diff cover fit the housing? That area is already well protected in the setup you've designed, and that would give you a lot more clearance to the steering rack than the cast cover is giving.

Well noted, the answer is NO, it is their proprietary ECGS CASE and it has a different cover bolt pattern... You and I think alike, ECGS sent me out a Fabricated steel cover today for me to modify...I'll keep everyone informed.

Surprised you cut that much off the intermediate side? I would have sleeved down and just ground/sectioned to clear the oil pan. Are you going to hard mount it or do bushings? I think cutting the rear A-Arm brace out and making a bolt in cradle that is welded to the center section would be how I would do it. That way you can drop it in and out and actual structurally tie everything together. I am worried about the rotational forces slowly tearing the mounts out, let alone trying to muscle the thing into place.

Nice work. Wonder if Dana would be interested in your retrofit measurements? They would need to come up with bigger axle tube and cv joints to match possibly.
I'm sure several manufacturers would like to follow my lead, Currie's probably kicking themselves right about now (or they already have one ready for production).

If Spicer was going to do this they already would have, they're the biggest and have the most resources, they even have the special Spicer Bronco to try out all their new products on ...the problem I see is that they're standard High pinion front Dana 60 housing does not have the angled cover which could create clearance issues for the steering rack. So Dana Spicer would have to create a new casting just for the Bronco, This is highly unlikely to ever happen.

Out of all the companies that I called and explained what I was doing and most of them laughed at me and said "oh that'll never work,"
ECGS was and is so far the best to deal with! (on at least getting the cast center housing), and they also seem to have some interest in production for our Broncos in the future. Keep your fingers crossed, and if you have interest and are serious about wanting a Dana 60 for your Bronco in the front, there's no reason you couldn't call or contact or email ECGS let them know your a potential future customer. (that's all I can say right now)

Thanks for the picture that's exactly how I'm going to do the mount for the Bronco 60FDU on the cover side

I think we can make FP aware of this little project, this is a game changer getting a D60 FDU to work.

Ford Performance??? 🤣😅😂😝
Why bother them? They can't even get there tuner to work correctly, and when I call them about their special PCM for the 5.2 then don't even know what it does ...🤔they can't tell you what parameters it's able to run, 🤐can't tell you if it hooks up to the BCM😬 or even the factory speedometer.🤮 Those guys, at least the ones that answered the phone, AND emails, are complete overpaid morons and idiots.🥸🤓🤯
