There have been some updates since it was new but can't say if that was OTA/Wi-Fi or if a dealer did them during the course of some other repairs.

One other thing to try is connecting your vehicle to a wi-fi network (house/work) to give the modem another option beside the cell network.
Since there is no OTA History I would guess they were done by the Dealer.

The Bronco is connected to my Wireless network at home. I see both Nic (from what I read some Ford Vehicles appear as 2 Network interfaces on routers) and both seems to be calling home. No updates tho...

Just seems like the OTA gods don't like you.

Indeed!

I guess that I just have to be patient and wait until Ford decides to give me some updates love. Thanks again for your help!

That is probably not the issue but it's something to include/exclude from this end as part of the diagnostic process. As was mentioned by @rugedraw your dealer is going to have to do these updates in the hope it's going to unlock whatever is hanging the OTAs. The problem I see with a lot of dealers is that, "OTAs not updating" is not complaint they're going to spend much time trying to fix. A lot of that has to do with their lack of understanding how to claim these updates, assuming the vehicle is still under factory warranty. Now, if you're out of warranty and willing to pay time, I'm sure the dealer would be happy do all of those updates on your dime.

No, I checked your entire vehicle history and I see no indication your truck has ever been plugged into FDRS; much less updated with FDRS. OTA history is kept in PTS for 60-90 days at a time, so I can't see any OTA's the truck got before it got stuck where it is now. Being on wifi or not will not do anything in terms of helping the mothership queue up an OTA for you. I would recommend you do the updates yourself. I run a Mongoose loaner program where I loan mine out at no cost to people. Details are below. Based on the current waiting list, it would be 6-8 weeks before I get to you. It's very easy and I can walk you through it. Lmk if you want me to add you to the list.

I'm assuming these web sites that shows vehicle specific information are not available to users like me. I've looked at the Ford site and don't see anything that shows me the kind of information posted earlier in the forum.

@solracarevir would you feel comfortable trying to do the updates yourself via FDRS? May need a VPN but I've done manual updates through that system like 4-5 times now and would be happy to help

You can pay for access to PTS and FDRS. IMO, not worth paying for PTS access when several members have access and can check for you, and FDRS access is only worth paying for if you plan on updating it yourself.

I don't think he would need a VPN in PR.

You aren't missing out on anything really.
My updates have been turned off since Oct 2023, and my Bronco seems no worse for it. I'd like a detailed change log to see what's being updated, and if it's anything I'd care much about. Overall when something is working fine why mess with it.

Send me your VIN
Hi there! Will you send us a message with your VIN and your local Ford dealer? I can look into things on my end.

;)

(please don't, I'm not actually a helpful person)

Are you located in Puerto Rico? Other's located outside North America have reported sync update issues. There was some question if sync OTA updates are available over seas. @Ducati1098 or @flip may be able to shed some light on Oasis and FDRS.
Has there been an update to fix a harsh shift after cold start? My 22 used to bang into gear unless I waited a minute warm up time. Now I can shift into gear immediately and its smooth. This seemed to be resolved when I noticed I no longer have the rolling rock graphics. My VIN is 1FMDE5BH1NLA93874 . Thanks

OTA history shows only an APIM and TCU update in the past 60 days. The update that would have changed the graphics on the screen would have been to the IPC or APIM (depending on which screen the rolling rocks was shown on) and any update to address shifting would have been for the PCM. I cannot tell you if your truck received an OTA update for the PCM at some point, but I can tell you it shows a PCM update pending for it on the server along with a few others. You have an IPC update pending too, so I assume the rolling rocks is/was on the touchscreen.

No where in the original post did i see the owner say that they had connected the Bronco to their home Wifi where the auto updates actually download. IF you just buy the car and bring it home then no updates will happen until it's connected. Just an idea....

Every time i think “huh, I haven't had an update in a long while and I see people posting about one”, I go and put my battery on a trickle charger and sure enough, i’ll have that update inside of a week.

Ford makes it seem like Wifi is important for updates, but Wifi is not needed for a vehicle to be sent or even queued up for an OTA. Only two OTA's have even been pushed out that specifically say "Wifi required" in PTS since 2021 vehicles dropped and Ford first started doing this. Updates download through the TCU whike the vehicle is on and driving.

@rugeurge I'm having 4wd issues. I know that it could be a transfer case or awd module issue. Can you check if an update failed? Also status of updates in general?
