Haha, yup. They did work well offroad, I'll give them that. Pretty much dead at 18k? I've never had a tire wear so fast, that's nuts.

See what I mean? Cry babies galore! 😜😂😇

Seriously, just kidding gents. About the only good thing I’ve heard regarding the stock GY’s is their weight and price.
Go for a long ride on a caliche road real close/next to a Bronco with those tires. We'll see whose crying... lol

No regrets so far:

37" KO2s on Method 701s. 6112 coilover kit (maxed out circlip #6) plus Ready Lift 1 1/2" leveling kit in the front. Have not had any rubbing so far, but have not pushed it yet with the 37s. Planning on upgrading steering rack before spring. I get ~15.5 mpg and my speedo is calibrated with a ProCal.

I’ve bought several new vehicles, and never once been impressed with longevity of the factory tires.

Maybe the worst overall performing in longevity, traction and any other category was General tires on an older Chevy truck. I get most factory tires are a special blend and not as good as the normal lines but those Generals took the cake. I hated them and refuse to consider them to this day. Now, who’s crying? 😂

My most finicky had to be the Nexen N’FERA SUR4G drag radials that came stock on my 1320 Scat Pack Challenger. Wet traction wasn’t great but definitely not the “OMG you’re going to crash & die” level other owners claimed. Couldn’t drive or store below 14* F without possible damage. Life expectancy was 10k or less. Aside from negatives, these were purposeful and the limitations were fully understood so it didn’t torque me like the Generals.

LOL, that’s fair.

Trust me, I was crying plenty with the BFG’s on some “trails” we ran a few months back. There was some limited decent areas but mostly gravel roads. Never got so tired of hearing “ting, ting, ting”. Glad I had the step sliders with plates to help keep things at bay.

I'm always amazed at how much gravel accumulates on the top of my RSEs along the body seam with the BFGs. It's astounding. You'd think I took a bag of gravel and poured it in that groove.

The last new vehicle I bought, a Ford Transit Connect, had crappy Continental tires from the dealer. They were quiet, but they got two flats a month apart on regular pavement. I expect they were cheap for Ford but they had nothing else to recommend them.

After only a few thousand miles I switched to 3-Peak Michelin (CrossClimate 2) and what a difference! They're noisier but the vehicle handles a lot better and no problems at all for the past year. It was worth the expense getting better tires.

At least my Bronco (now on order) will come with KO2s to start.

Wife's Sport came with Michellin Primacy AS tires. They were wearing unevenly, and quickly, and were at the wear limit indicators in spots by 12,000 miles.

Is yours a SAS? Mine is a badlands non-SAS with methods and 6112s and I'm wanting to go 37s. Is yours 2.7 or2.3?

Are the K02s that come stock on the Braptor 6 or 8 ply?

Seems like the lightest 37in you can get is a 6 ply K02.

Zero “RAGRETS” well I guess one. During the winter with my soft top up I can no longer fit in one of my work parking structures. During the summer months I drop the top, hold my breath and limbo in.

Other than that I love it.
Ground clearance is night and day from my 33”. A little less giddy up but still plenty for me. I knew going into the 37” that my mpg would drop but to me the pay off was worth it. Didn’t buy the bronco for the great gas mileage.

I just got some 37's this week so not a lot of time to judge, but these KO2 C rated tires are lighter than the 35" E-rated KM3's I had so it feels a lot better on the road. I did have to remove the front mudflaps since they rubbed the 35's so there was no way they would work with the 37's.

Same here, but on a car. Two cars actually, before I realized they were shit.
It still makes me cringe when I see folks buy the Black Diamond take offs .... but I don't know first hand how those last.

.... and now, just bought a nice 2016 Outback, 55k miles, the dealer put new tires on before I bought it .... fuckin' Generals again. I can't wait to change them out. They are usually decent the first year, then degrade significantly ...

Two tires I hate so far, General and my Toyo's currently on the Bronco.
Surprisingly they both get really great reviews at the tire sites..... .
The Toyo's are actually worse than the Generals ever thought of being ...

I've been happy with all the Toyo I've had. Stock on a super duty got over 70k on them and now open country RT trails on my bronco.
