  1. Reverse takes a while to engage after siting for a long time

Hello all, I noticed that if my bronco sits for more than 4-5 days, when I start it and put it in reverse, it takes a while for the gear to fully engage. Like as if reverse is slipping. Is this a common quirk on these transmissions? I am thinking it’s probably the oil completely draining out...

  6. Several dealers wouldn’t let me lease my Everglades

Tell me about it. When I went to Moab 3 months into my lease, Ford found out and sent a repo truck on the trail to snatch my Bronco away from me. Lucky for me they couldnt make it to the hot tub.

Well gents, transaction is done. I am now the proud owner of a paid off Bronco. On top of the 500$ fee, I had a suprise management charge of 23$CAD for the dealer to do the change with my provincial DMV. Then my proivincial DMV charged me something like 18$. 11. Buying out your lease before the end - anything to look out for?

Spoke to the finance person at my dealer. I have to pay 500$ + the residual value + the remainder of the lease payments(but not the interest component of the lease) + sales tax. She confirmed that I am saving the interest on the lease that I would have paid if I had waited 15 more months to...
  12. Buying out your lease before the end - anything to look out for?

The 500$ is in the lease agreement. My salesman had told me about the 500$ back in 2023.... when I leased it that if I were to buy it, there is a 500$ tou buy the bronco at the end of the lease. Talking the the finance person today and will ask some questions to clear things up.

  14. Steel wheel center caps

FWIW I bought OEM bronco plastic centercaps and unfortunately they did not fit with my aftermarket steel wheels I have. It seems as if the oem lugnut themselves were further "in" with the aftermarket steel wheels vs. OEM and that makes the little tabs on the center caps not "grip" correctly on...
  15. Buying out your lease before the end - anything to look out for?

I heard back from the salesman today. It appears that I dont have to pay all of the remaining lease payments + the residual like some have mentionned in the thread. I am now thinking that maybe it works differently in Canada vs. the US. not sure. Basicaly what I understand is that during the...

  19. Buying out your lease before the end - anything to look out for?

My bronco is used and expensed as a business car and I am planning to shut down next year. If I buy it now I can apply a large deprecication against my wages this year and the next which far surpasses what my lease expense is. I checked it out with an accountant as well. Once I have shut down...
