Indeed! They've added "extreme" which puts my mind at ease a bit. Where they define "extreme" could still be a subjective issue in the future. I'll still go ahead with the post I was making before this update, but that one word makes it a fair bit more reasonable.

Out of curiosity, I pulled up Bilstein's warranty. They only pulled your warranty for offroading if it was a competition.

Gotcha, so warranty denial for more like this:

And my point originally was to the context that asking someone to remove a product multiple times to determine if they actually have shipped a product with an issue is not friendly customer service but rather easy for them, hard for the buyer.
Oh, you didn't get the sarcasm. When I said "because I want three sets of springs", that was sarcasm. That was based on another thread where someone wanted Eibach coilovers with the stiffer springs, but (at least for now), Eibach wants you to buy the other springs separately. OEM, lighter and heavier springs = three. I wasn't advising the OP to put on three sets of springs, but perhaps that was confusing without an emoji.

Not the case, we offer the complete kits in regular rates OR as the HD version, but you can also purchase the springs separately if you already have coil overs and decided you need the heavier spring rates.

Waiting on the thread “the HD Eibach coils are TOO STIFF”

Out of curiosity-what are the spring rates on those?

Interesting. Obviously not y'all that said it. So wondering if I'm getting that wrong, or if the reseller misspoke.

An analogy I’ve been using when people ask about getting into custom shocks is this:

Coilovers are like a fine suit, you can spend a fortune on a suit but unless you tailor it to your body type, it looks like crap. Same with your shocks! You have to tune them to your vehicle. You don’t just throw money at it. Thought and tuning is involved. So is trial and error sometimes to get it right

Also, there are a massive amount of folks that think purchasing an expensive off-road shock equals great ride on road. While you can definitely have a decent ride, off-road shocks are inherently stiffer then on road for a reason. You can’t treat this like a civic where you buy a set of Koni’s and throw em on.

Tires also play a huge factor that is often overlooked. Load ranges, tread type, tire compound, etc all play a role.

Eibach is one of the best spring companies in the market. In fact, most springs on all factory and aftermarket coilovers are from Eibach.

I feel like I went off a bit but I think a lot of people don’t understand a lot of this stuff and think just spending money on the perceived best will make them happy. In fact, a huge amount of people buying “the ultimate” suspension for their daily driver would be better served with a mild pro-comp coilover or even factory setup. They just want to hit everything with their pocketbook though and get upset when it doesn’t ride stock anymore.
This is partly due to people just being new to the game and having money to spend. Or they watch too many influencers harp on products and think they need it. Idk.

I’m glad Eibach posted their side of the story. Makes OP look like an absolute tool. I had no idea OP was the guy who powder coated his springs. That certainty is a crucial piece of info that he should have included, but didn’t for now obvious reasons.

This thread definitely increases my opinion of Eibach, which is the exact opposite of the OPs intention. LOL.

I recently bought Eibach 2.0 from Panda - great deal, great service. They are in the box awaiting installation. From the original post, I thought - WTF did I get into?!! Post Eibach response, I think I'm OK. As for the OP: "Bueller? Bueller?......crickets.........
I have the pro truck 2.0s ZERO complaints, on road and off road, zero complaints.

I am running a set of the Eibach Pro Truck coilovers on my Bronco , and have nothing but Good to speak of them . I drive down a 5 mile dirt road on a daily basis , at 65-75 mph , and the ride is Increadibly smooth
