I just installed the Eibach 2.0 Pro coilovers on my Badlands. I noticed Eibach does not have the bellows to help protect the shock rod from dust and debris. I hear many complaints about Eibach rear shocks failing but not in the front. The rear shocks tend to be more exposed to dust and debris than the fronts. I am sure Eibach shock rods have a dust wiper but those only last so long and then the oil seal starts to get more wear from it, followed by eventual failure. This is only a suspicion but I feel it is a valid one.

Has anyone ever tried to use a bellows on an Eibach shock?

Give them a call. I've had excellent interaction with their support staff.

I have black bellows on my rear remote reservoir shocks on my F150.

After getting everything installed, I am not ready to take the rears apart to install the bellow tubes. Maybe in a few weeks, I will forget how difficult it was and maybe willing to tackle it again.

That is a good idea to call Eibach. They can probably tell me what boots would fit and may have something that would work for me.

Thanks to both of you for the advice.

their customer support is great and you'll get a human on the phone. If you're just looking for BETTER, a split boot approach would prevent and keep you from removing.
