Along the fence line not sure exactly where. There’s a bypass to go around. It’s steeper than it looks in the video, with lots of ledges.
The guy was leading a Bronco club. Pretty full of himself. I went around the group as they were contemplating what to do. He saw me go up it in the RZR (it’s just an 800 on 31’s with portals) and figured he could do it. He didn’t make it to the top where I had stopped to walk down and video.

If it's where I think, the time I went before (Oct or Nov
), right around there was this big Razr that had thrown a suspension rod through the "hood" on the Razr. It was like, dang! This guy was working on it trying to get it out; apparently it had been there a couple days and the Hidden Falls people wanted it gone.He had a big Rednecks with Paychecks sticker on the windscreen, go figure.

Oh yeah!!! I learned on one of those as well, it might still be around here somewhere. When I searched google for a skateboard pic I purposely picked an old school one just for that reason.

Today I got an extended Eibach rear measurement while installing DV8 shock/trailing arm skids. If I did it correctly it’s 25 7/8”. Not impressive, looking at the chart earlier in the thread. 7” travel before contacting the long squishy bump stop.
great read just picked up the rc 3.5 lift for my base 2door also got the 2.5 spacer for the bilstines because the kit i got at the stamped was a 2.5 and they sent me the 3.5 spacer. i have the 2 in on now . i got the hd tie rod and the lift for 450 dollars and a shock skid for free not a bad day. so my though is 5100 with my 2 in with the rest of the parts of the rc kit
the 2.5 spacer will go on my wifes 4 door bd i could put 37 on now with the 2 in spacer i have a1.5 wheel spacer with the stock steely. and 35s maxxis razr at also ran this with no lift. on both bronco. the base i got for msrp back in 22. that was 29500. so for a grand total of 35 grand to be on 37 lift and a rear locker and bumpers not a bad deal.

FWIW, today I had someone try to tell me that their Bronco Sport Badlands was more off-road capable than my Bronco Outer Banks... LOL. Talk about delusions of grandeur!

Same person doesn’t know the difference between a body on frame or unibody, or that their Sport is front drive based and just a rebodied Escape. Do they even know they are completely different vehicles?

Thinking about the numbers a bit more :
Icon stage 3 gives you 10.4" of front travel (6.93" strut travel x 1.5 motion ratio) ?
With 3" of lift that's 7.2" front uptravel and 3.2" front downtravel ?
Do the fronts top out with this set-up ?

I think this depends on the spring rate and preload. @SierraBronco made a pretty cool video of suspension cycling.

@SierraBronco has some great video of the front dual rate RK springs cycling kinda hard.
here are some thoughts on these dual rate springs.
RK front spring spec, 14” length, 525 up to 8”, then 625 up to 5.4”, then locked.
the basic formula for stiffness of a coil spring is
K= G* d^4 / ( 8* N* D^3 )
G is material property so same for a given spring. K (stiffness) changes wrt; diameter of wire (d), number of coils (N), and diameter of spring (D). Keeping wire diameter constant, the easiest things to change to get different spring rates is the spring diameter (strong effects to third power) and number of coils (weak effects only linear).
So looking at your Rk spring (see pics), the diameter changes at both ends of the spring. Looks like 2 coils of small diameter at each end. Then 5 coils of large diameter in the middle. Small diameter coil equals stiffer spring. Notice middle coil diameter is fairly consistent with larger diameter but diameter at ends decreases gradually. So likely the stiffness at the ends is not very linear (variable diameter) but it should be very linear in the middle section (constant diameter).
so the way these springs work is; For the initial 6” of spring compression (from 14” to 8”), the spring rate has the equivalent rate of both springs during this compression (Keq= Kend*Kmid/ (Kend+Kmid).
once the ends are fully compressed (at 8”), then the middle spring rate is the only available compression left. Turns into a linear spring at 625 lbs/in. You can see the full compression of the ends (2 coils on each end) from your video. You will most likely feel this jump in stiffness.
So the challenge is to get a near linear spring rate of 525 from the initial 6” of compression. Knowing the rate of Kmid is 625, then the end spring stiffness Kend) can be calculated for desired equivalent stiffness Keq of 525. So Kend stiffness is 3300.
I doubt this initial equivalent stiffness is perfectly linear at 525.
Awesome video. I tried to grab two snapshots. One near full droop where you can see ends uncompressed and second at severe compression where you can see ends fully locked.

Now we're getting somewhere. I get the sense that the other high-end front springs are not progressive.
