I thought the computer torque management etc would limit your boost

Reading all this, I’m wondering. Will a 2.7 build boost from a brake and launch situation? Meaning, if you hold the brake, and stomp the throttle, will the turbos build boost?
It sounds like you need to manually start in 2nd gear to allow the boost to build up for launch. 1st gear will not allow boost because of the torque management.

Mine will build ~10 psi in first gear before it tries to start pushing past the brakes. It would definitely build more if the brakes could hold it.

I have the same issue.

I also paid to have the transmission filter and fluid changed. Had planned to do it myself, but that will have to wait until next go round.

I’m also having some vinyl installed. Have cool design made for the rear tailgate, but it’s not completed as of yet. I’m digging the blacked out hood. The hood bulge stands out quite a bit too.

Yeah I went black with the bulge, too.

Quite an investment in time and money. But nice to have the power and keep up with traffic these days. I am practically run off the road driving too slow in any vehicle, including the Bronco, despite driving 10 MPH over the speed limit. Does it still top out at 100 with these mods? 100 is slow these days LOL.

Speed limiter can be removed with custom tuning. I'm tuned by the same company and have had mine at 130 or so. LOTS of wind noise :ROFLMAO:

130- wow. Lot of wind noise I'll bet. I remember going 160 once in a 2003 Civic SI tuned with intake and exhaust and the wind noise does get loud after 100!

With this tune I’ve been 120+ a few times. I just put new tires on the front and it feels a lot more planted. Plan to do a 60-130 run for giggles at some point.
