All your points are valid criticisms.
no they're not.

Lack of lighting is the designer's fault, not the customer's.
if anything, lack of lighting is the fault of the guy who bought it knowing there was no lighting.

Anyway, the real ass is the jeep guy who bought a Bronco and now regrets it, and comes here to slam it using things like "I bought it without interior lighting and I don't like that" and "I don't like where the flasher button is, therefore it might as well not have flashers" as excuses.

1)no power seats (guess i should have figured that out before buying)
2)the hazards switch is too far way from the driver
3) the collision alarm is startlingly loud, flashes a glare on the windshield and generally sucks all around.
4)the mirror switch's are in the worst place possible (and the reason i know the collision alarm sucks...)
5)the gauges , they suck to look at period. (reminds me of a late 80's chevy truck)
6) the lack of interior lighting.
7)wtf would you build a vehicle around the radio? you have zero options on a head unit? seriously?
8)lack of power ports in dash unless there's some hidden i have 1 usb port on lower dash and a power plug in the console.
ok that's interior
1) in sand mode and in sand the temps sky rocket running at redline on the digital gauges. got hot enough to smell the paint burning off the engine.
2)in 4 low in sand temp runs high even manually shifted to 1st at 2500 rpm
3)no factory mudflaps installed? (should been in the sas package)
that's it for now..
have good one..
RE:
1 - Because of the 30" of fording ability and wash me out with a hose, power seat motors would be victims and useless.
2 - Probably because they wanted to make all the 'fun' buttons closer. So the 'it sucks' button is last in line.
3 - Well yes, they want your attention. Unlike you, there are other people that are still guilty of messing with their phones while driving. Got to wake them up.
4 - It is there for the same reason the windows switches are. The doors come off. And if the switch was on the door, now in your garage, how are you going to change them? Makes even more sense than the window switches.
5 - A hard one to please everyone. I never even look at the manual speedo. Covered by the steering wheel.
6 - Yes. Not sure what they were thinking. Mabett appreciates the business though.
7 - Integrated. This also supports Android Auto (I don't do Apple). So I actually use Pandora almost all the time. A head unit is previous, previous generation tech. I use Waze, Pandora, and Weather all the time. The Weather app I use gives me doppler radar and is very handy with kids and a soft top.
8 - If you had Lux, you get USB on the dash. Or you go to someone like Mabett and add your own.
(3)9 - IIRC, Mudflaps are almost always dealer installed options.

I live N. GA. Sand is something you buy at Home Depot. ;) We have clay and wet clay. :D

Window switches on the console don't make sense until you realize that you may want to operate other windows not next to you.

This is mostly a 4dr thing where people take off just the front doors. I've not seen anybody driving with just the driver door off but I guess could be an option for somebody, maybe a delivery driver.

The mirror switch takes some getting used to but I feel it is easy to get used to using by feel. The odd thing is pushing on the upside to get the mirror point down. Plus I do my adjustments before I start driving, usually :)

LOL, who test drives a Bronco at night? You do realize that most people don't visit this forum before shopping, right?

it doesn't take night time to see the features of the car.

This is what it's like when a sunset and a sunrise make it seem like a whole new day is upon you.
The best thing about this site are the replies from High Velocity. They are always the best. Well done sir, well done.

I do, I want to see the headlights on country roads. Jeep taught me that lesson, the JK has awful non-led headlights. Every passenger asked "are you going to turn on your lights?" until I bought led replacements.

Interior light never seemed like a problem for me but I always have a flashlight on me and one in the console.

Yeah, it's really easy to see the amount of lumens emitted from lighting during broad daylight. Jesus do you have a stick up your ass.

Research Research before you buy. I love mine. The obx has power seats and the lux has power points. My only complaint is no heated rear seats.

Sell it. Apparently, you have never driven or owned a Gen 1 Bronco to see the simplicity of it.
Lots of rants here so I'll address a couple at a time.

#1 - You are 100% correct you should have figured that out before buying. Power seats are only an option for 4-doors with leather.

#2 - The hazard switch is too far away, really? Please don't take offense, but are you disabled? If not, the location of the hazard button seems pretty accessible in a split second unless someone has T-Rex arms.

put about 11000 miles on this bronco and generally like most things about it.
as a side note. i bought it because my wife hates my 2door rubi . and other than the roof rack there's is no room much of anything.
so i ordered this bronco.
now for my bitch's.

T-Rex may have a 2-door, in which case, no power seats.
Good point. I had 2dr Lux. I will say that if you need use the back seat frequently waiting for the power seat to move all the way forward would get on your nerves fast. Especially when it's raining.
