i ordered this bronco. now for my bitch's.
1)no power seats (guess i should have figured that out before buying)
2)the hazards switch is too far way from the driver
3) the collision alarm is startlingly loud, flashes a glare on the windshield and generally sucks all around.
4)the mirror switch's are in the worst place possible (and the reason i know the collision alarm sucks...)
5)the gauges , they suck to look at period. (reminds me of a late 80's chevy truck)
6) the lack of interior lighting.
7)wtf would you build a vehicle around the radio? you have zero options on a head unit? seriously?
8)lack of power ports in dash unless there's some hidden i have 1 usb port on lower dash and a power plug in the console.
ok that's interior
1) in sand mode and in sand the temps sky rocket running at redline on the digital gauges. got hot enough to smell the paint burning off the engine.
2)in 4 low in sand temp runs high even manually shifted to 1st at 2500 rpm
3)no factory mudflaps installed? (should been in the sas package)

Lots of rants here so I'll address a couple at a time.

#1 - You are 100% correct you should have figured that out before buying. Power seats are only an option for 4-doors with leather.

#2 - The hazard switch is too far away, really? Please don't take offense, but are you disabled? If not, the location of the hazard button seems pretty accessible in a split second unless someone has T-Rex arms.

It's a safety device. Which in most people's lives mean readily accessible. If you have to look for it, than it's useless. And it's on the opposite end of the switch panel..you know cars have turn signals too. Butt they are always in the same place..Humm wonder why?

it's in a different spot in every car. By your logic, every rental you ever drive effectively does not have the safety flashers.

But you own your car. Presumably you know where the controls are on YOUR car. The one YOU bought and YOU drive every day. The one YOU are responsible for piloting. If you choose not to learn where the control is on YOUR car, that's a you problem. Not a car problem.

I really don't understand this "complaint", unless you're looking for an excuse to tell your wife why you're getting rid of it.

they haven't always been so. But hey, as long as we're on controls here...you know cars have wiper controls too. But they're NEVER in the same place and they NEVER operate the same way.

Huh. I guess by your logic, effectively cars don't have wipers.

As for the radio...where have you been for the last 15-20 years.

14 years. I designed the UX for Ford’s first screen in 2009. It went into production in 2010.

100%!! I can’t tell you how many times I roll down the rear windows instead of the front.

All good, sir. That said, if you have "to look for it" after 11,000 miles, there may be other issues.

You know, them being on a slant, I didn't need anyone to tell me which were front and which were rear.

That all being said, is there REALLY a good reason why buttons aren't on the doors themselves? Besides "it cost us an extra buck to do that".

I drive 4 different vehicles. So sometimes I get mixed up on where that arm should go, which control does the wipers, oh ya dial shift on this one. And so on. Hazard switch. Never used it but it’s right there in close reach. Mirror switches. Never used them. Mirrors are made like Fisher Price toys though. Interior lights are good enough for me, but could see where they could be considered lame. Aftermarket will probably have a touch screen head unit upgrade with OEM controls built in. Power seats. Over rated. Have them in our Sport and honestly prefer manual for the little the get moved. Now auto start stop button is another issue. I drive 3 new Fords. That button could be in the same place on all 3 and it is not. Different places on dash or center console.

Nah, he's always an ass. All your points are valid criticisms. Lack of lighting is the designer's fault, not the customer's. The passenger side hazard button is ridiculous - nobody should have to look that far over for a hazard button. Not sure how the lockers, sway bar disconnect, etc. switches are more important than hazards. For the vast majority of Bronco owners, that button is going to get the most use. The fact that the aftermarket has had to "solve" so many basic deficiencies with the Bronco, like basic mud flaps, tells you the egg wasn't fully hatched when they sold it. Hell, many of us are still waiting for the "right" MIC top replacement to be sold in the aftermarket because the Ford/Webasto was and remains garbage. For '25, they've finally provided a decent gauge cluster and rear vents. So, nobody will have to buy those stupid Mabett "duct extenders" and try to retrofit (half assedly) the Raptor cluster. Personally, I'm waiting for Bilsteins that don't lose their reservoirs so I won't have to do the Mabett-like fix with zip ties or stainless steel clamps.
