I own 3 vehicles and the head units went the way of the DoDo bird. I am happy with the Kicker speakers mounted to the roll bar. Like others added, just added some USB ports on the dash. Lots of interior lighting kits that can be added as well.

Coming from 3 Wranglers, there are things that I miss, but for the most part much happier with the Bronco. I have not experienced the electrical gremlins that I did on my later Jeeps.

the collision alarm is startlingly loud...is telling me your riding to close to the person in front of you ..which will prove costly to you and others one day..but I see many others on the roads doing the same thing...not me ( as A 18 wheel driver)

For Ford, yeah. For Toyota, the '04 Prius.
Toyota didn’t add touchscreens to the Prius until the fourth generation in 2015.

put about 11000 miles on this bronco and generally like most things about it.
as a side note. i bought it because my wife hates my 2door rubi . and other than the roof rack there's is no room much of anything.
so i ordered this bronco.
now for my bitch's.
1)no power seats (guess i should have figured that out before buying)
2)the hazards switch is too far way from the driver
3) the collision alarm is startlingly loud, flashes a glare on the windshield and generally sucks all around.
4)the mirror switch's are in the worst place possible (and the reason i know the collision alarm sucks...)
5)the gauges , they suck to look at period. (reminds me of a late 80's chevy truck)
6) the lack of interior lighting.
7)wtf would you build a vehicle around the radio? you have zero options on a head unit? seriously?
8)lack of power ports in dash unless there's some hidden i have 1 usb port on lower dash and a power plug in the console.
ok that's interior
1) in sand mode and in sand the temps sky rocket running at redline on the digital gauges. got hot enough to smell the paint burning off the engine.
2)in 4 low in sand temp runs high even manually shifted to 1st at 2500 rpm
3)no factory mudflaps installed? (should been in the sas package)
that's it for now..
have good one..

Not really a complaint, but I wish my Badlands came with the Heritage fenders like an original 1st gen Bronco. I may still replace the fenders and additional parts to make it "right". I will have to go back and search for the guy who already did the change with adding the parts list.

I had a US gen 2 Prius, a 2007 (gen 2 started in MY2004). That absolutely was a touch screen.

Anyway, the radio was fully integrated and not just a head unit.

Not a fan on any of the kits that try to duplicate the Everglade's fenders, they just look wrong.

Not sure I understand the stereo complaint. I've never bought a vehicle with the stereo being a huge factor. I've had good stereos and so-so units. Never anything to complain about though. What am I missing? There are a few minor gripes I have, but overall I like the Bronco a lot (after 2 Wranglers). Have had for two and a half years now. I get used to the minor issues I have at first and drive on.

Seems like you are looking for things to complain about. Everything is subjective to the individual. I like the dash and gauge cluster...you don't. The hazard button is easy to reach, another subjective point. Almost all vehicles come without mudflaps and I think most owners want to select their own style and amount of coverage (I opted for the larger OEM). Really the only thing I agree with is that the Bronco could use more interior lighting. Personally, I love everything about the Bronco except for the long-term viability of the MIC top. We could be talking about a high end Ferrari and people would still find things they do not like.

I like the full coverage of these flaps...others want none or something smaller. Choices......

the hazards really bother me. you have to reach over half way across the dash to get to the switch. i use them a lot in the pnw since people up here have a lot of air gap between there ears and stop for no particular reason in the middle of the highway..so you gotta look over find the swich,,.then that freak'in collision alarm goes off....lol sucks...
Where in the PNW are you at? I’ve lived in the Seattle/north of Seattle area for 50 years and I’ve never run into anyone just stopped in the middle of the highway.

I am in no way saying I disagree with your comment on the empty space between the ears of the drivers around here because your spot on there!!
Now that I think of it though I’ve honestly never used the hazards more than a couple times on all the time I’ve lived here. Lucky maybe?

The first gen Broncos did not have fenders/flares.

Some people will go to the ends of the Earth to defend their dear Bronco. It's a vehicle that has flaws like many others. There's absolutely nothing wrong with complaining about it. What is it about looking down on people who identify flaws with the Bronco? It's because of complaints that things get fixed.
