First gen had squared fenders. I said fenders. Fenders flares were available. The first gen Broncos did not have fenders/flares.
On the Hazard lights button, I use that religiously in all my cars and learned that habit while driving in Europe. Knock on wood but I’ve never been rear-ended and I think using the hazard lights has helped. I think all Hazard buttons should generally be in the same spot in all cars because I have five cars (not counting my kids’) and I need to think every time I need to quickly get to the switch. As for the “complaints”, all good suggestions so maybe Ford is paying attention. Feedback is “currency”.put about 11000 miles on this bronco and generally like most things about it.
as a side note. i bought it because my wife hates my 2door rubi . and other than the roof rack there's is no room much of anything.
so i ordered this bronco.
now for my bitch's.
1)no power seats (guess i should have figured that out before buying)
2)the hazards switch is too far way from the driver
3) the collision alarm is startlingly loud, flashes a glare on the windshield and generally sucks all around.
4)the mirror switch's are in the worst place possible (and the reason i know the collision alarm sucks...)
5)the gauges , they suck to look at period. (reminds me of a late 80's chevy truck)
6) the lack of interior lighting.
7)wtf would you build a vehicle around the radio? you have zero options on a head unit? seriously?
8)lack of power ports in dash unless there's some hidden i have 1 usb port on lower dash and a power plug in the console.
ok that's interior
1) in sand mode and in sand the temps sky rocket running at redline on the digital gauges. got hot enough to smell the paint burning off the engine.
2)in 4 low in sand temp runs high even manually shifted to 1st at 2500 rpm
3)no factory mudflaps installed? (should been in the sas package)
that's it for now..
have good one..
Ok, when are all of you using your hazards? I'm intrigued. Unless you are on the side of the road in the dark changing a tire or in some way disabled, or in a funeral procession I see zero purpose in using hazards for any other situation. On the Hazard lights button, I use that religiously in all my cars and learned that habit while driving in Europe. When traffic slams on brakes. It’s common in Europe for hazards to go on to alert people behind. Less common in the US but some people do it to ensure the cars behind see the sudden stop or slow of the follow, which is why the hazard button is better near quick and easy access.Ok, when are all of you using your hazards? Quick psychology note: it is the change of state that catches our attention, not the existence of the light itself. If the guy in front of you hit the brakes and the brake lights came on and you missed that change of state, you stand a noticeably less chance of realizing that by simply having the red brake lights themselves appear in your field of vision when you put your attention that way. But if the light continued to flash, you'd see that for sure. When traffic slams on brakes. It’s common in Europe for hazards to go on to alert people behind. Hats off, that original SYNC touch interface was great. I think it debuted in the 2010 Fusion.14 years. I designed the UX for Ford’s first screen in 2009. It went into production in 2010.
Do you always make post online that tell everyone what a soft Karen you are?So do you talk to yourself alot or just share it in a group text..![]()
100% agree. Some people just need things to complain about, like the Karen’s of the world.I have a '23 Badlands 2 door, similar rationale, except I felt like the 2 door JL was a bit too small. This list is so nit-picky I think it proves Ford designed a great vehicle.
Mudflaps from the factory? Mudflaps on the Bronco are hideous, I'd rather deal with the rock chips than look at those things. The hazard is too far? Where do you propose they put it, somewhere on the wheel where you hit it by accident.
I'm sorry the list is just complaining for the sake of complaining. It's been a really fun vehicle and I've really no complaints. Yeah, carplay doesn't work all the time, sometimes 2nd gear doesn't want to engage, and my driver seat belt motor is dead, but you know what..........it still can go over and through pretty much anything I want, is comfortable and fun to drive.
I thought your complaint was that they built the car around the stereo instead of just supplying a head unit. Now you've changed that to "my other stereos were decent, the Bronco's isn't".Not an argument, 4 of the last 5 vehicles have been ford's 07, 12, 15, 23, and all but this one had decent stereo. So the statement is argumentative.
And I'm just stating fact. So if the stero goes out does the bronco Just die? That would suck...
Or if you switch back and forth with someone dramatically different in height and build than you.I will say that if you need use the back seat frequently waiting for the power seat to move all the way forward would get on your nerves fast.
Definitely - you have my original build it appears, 2021 Badlands non-SAS (because you couldn't get SAS with the manual) and Cyber Orange. Ended up with SAS and Eruption Green once my order was completed (March 2023).100% agree. Some people just need things to complain about, like the Karen’s of the world.
I also do not have mud flaps. Think they look horrible. Have very few rock chips.

Thank you so much! It was an idiot savant moment for me. The person hired to do the job wasn’t getting it done and my boss asked me to take over. I was diagnosed with a brain tumor soon after I started and have little memory of actually working on it. I do remember my original concept had a brushed aluminum background (what was I thinkin?)Hats off, that original SYNC touch interface was great. I think it debuted in the 2010 Fusion.
