Suspension and Tie Rods Inquiry

Being in Northern California the terrain is so diverse you can pick and choose how you really want to use the Bronco. Since I am so close the Rubicon there are plenty of places to rock crawl and a lot washouts to do pre-running. I want to replace the rear bumper with a Turn Offroad rear bumper before I hit the Rubicon.

yeah i need a back bumper that matches the front ...when the time $$$ is right lol

How long does it take to install those and aren’t they something like $400? I’m legitimately curious if it’s faster/easier than throwing on a new inner that’s $38.

On my 2door BadSquatch I went with Icon Stage7 Billet kit 3" total lift over BadSquatch height..Icon HDX tierods and a 74 weld 2.0 billet housing that my ford dealer swaped my stock steering rack guts into the 74 weld 2.0 housing for the Badlands Sasquatch no programming required

They're around $400 give or take. At least BB's were around there. The sleaves I think have been cheaper. I understood you meant the braces and the point you were making (the tie rods are cheap).

Tie rod cheap. Rack expensive. Rack plus core charge expensiver. Change rack hard. Change rack much hard on trail. Change tie rod easy. Broncbuster shyster sleazeball that gives bronco youtubers free stuff to trick the misinformed into buying his products.

I think that should get us all on the same page.

If only they had a non stick coating. I really want a cast iron set. I think these fix several of the my original concerns.

We’re hoping it’s a clean break for this right? Sometimes they bend before breaking. One might be safe in assuming that would make the installation a beast unless the tolerances are wildly loose.

Ford heavy duty tierod last month in Moab. Just replaced the end back on the trail 40 minutes later. No brackets ever over the last 2 1/2 years.
