What a WEAPON (2024 Bronco Raptor)!!

Great story and man I’m sure I’m not the only one to cringe seeing those new painted fenders take a beating!
Question: is this normal for the inner wheel to be misaligned with the outer ring? Notice the spokes don’t line up. Does the ring float on the wheel? I’ve never seen this before.

I think that one is clocked wrong.

The beauty ring is misaligned. The indention circled in red should be matched with the valve stem

great post, always good to hear from new owners. I've never been a fan of the graphics package, however your white/orange combo looks good. great pics of the fam enjoying the great outdoors too!

Nice vid, and very nice RIG. The BRaptors are beasts right out of the box. Agreed, not many are going to be needed for it.

Man, every time I see the pull-out tailgate I go to order it. Then the price pops up and I start thinking, I can get A,B, or C for that price!

Sorry - I don’t recall what brand I use - I have had it for like 10 years. Likely something from Adams or Griot or Chemical Guys. The magic is more in the soap - I use Mr Pink and it’s fantastic!

2024 Bronco Raptor. What a weapon!!!

Hey Bronco6G. First post here. I’ve been lurking for a while and Im thankful for all the great information and insight provided here. So I thought its time join up now that I own a Bronco and contribute as this journey unfolds.

Im coming over to the Bronco from a Tundra TRD Pro (Frankenstein). I thought the Tundra could take me anywhere but as I continued to up the ante, the long wheel base and size of the Tundra proved otherwise. My Tundra has been heavily modified, but I don’t think the Bronco will need much modification.

I haven’t owned the Bronco long, but boy, in the short amount of time Ive had it…. This truck just goes. Its unmodified currently and has tackled everything thrown at it. It has run with Jeeps on 40s, crawler buggies and everything in between.

I recently took it out for its maiden voyage and broke it in (literally, broke off both fenders). Absolutely thrilled with its performance. It may well be the most capable off-road factory vehicle on the market.

Here it is

Had to add some essentials real quick, the baby changing station

When you get to the top of the mountain, youll need to make lunch, so the tiregate table is necessary.

Need to get all this stuff in the trailer

Done

Hooked up the Schutt XV3 and headed for the mountains.

First night took it easy and just set up camp

Then we made it go, and it goes

And goes

Following the big bois on 40s

Kids are wiped

Nice peice of kit here when youre ready to air back up to street psi. Cuts time to 1/4th

After shot back home

Time to get it cleaned up

Did I say we broke both fenders off? Does Ford have a narrow fender option because I need it.

Once you get the mud off the damage is revealed

Something something, chicks dig scars?

Endless mud

But finally clean

Not to take anything away from your BRaptor and it's capabilities, but those Jeeps you were running with didn't look to be super hardcore wheelers. You don't put 20s on a rock crawler unless you're running like 43"+ tires, just saying... No way my Badlands on 37" MTs keeps up with the guys running 40s in my club. They are out there on tons and doing really crazy stuff.

I would put the BRaptor up there in the conversation for best stock ORV because it has 37's and lockers (I do still think a Rubi on 35s does just edge it out on top end rock crawling).

Now you just need to get rid of those ATs and figure out a different fender flare solution. Should step you up even a bit further. I wouldn't look at 40's on stock axles if you plan on off-roading unless you're ok with breaking stuff. Personally, my plan is to go to portals after I get my Bronco paid off in a few years.

oh, and rock rails are an absolute must.

I'm assuming you mean bar work around the truck and not sliders?
