Update: the photo does not show an official Raptor R. It belongs to an individual. The “R“ decal was put on the tailgate by the owner.

Having said that, the possibility of a Bronco Raptor R is a possibility.
I would love to see more power, whether it’s a supercharged V8 or even a hybrid power train.

Original post:

After posting photos of the upcoming Ford Performance carbon fiber parts, a user pointed out that there is a "R" decal underneath the Bronco horse decal.

We may be looking at the upcoming Bronco Raptor R model.

Bronco Raptor R would most likely have the same 3.0L Twin-Turbo V6 but with the addition of a hybrid powertrain.
The power output would be very similar to the Lincoln Aviator hybrid (494HP, 630 Lb-FT Torque).

This setup would make Bronco Raptor a rocket ship on wheels!
The carbon fiber package may be for the Raptor R. Considering prices are at $100K+ now, an R model with Carbon Fiber parts could be pretty pricey.

I’d think the “R” would be red/orange, like on the F150.

All this is not a raptor r, this is desert chiefs bronco raptor and he is showcasing the anderson composites carbon fiber pieces that will be sold through ford performance. there are several threads on here showcasing the upcoming carbon parts being sold by ford performance.

While we all hope for bronco raptor r, i wouldnt hold your breath we are seeing one for at least 2 years.

Not sure about the hybrid. I’ve had a negative experience with a 48v hybrid system in a Land Rover. Vehicle was used daily for short trips. Started getting messages that the battery was low. Found in the owners manual that after a start, it had to be driven at least 30 minutes to adequately charge. Promptly traded for a non-hybrid machine. Problem solved.

Pfft, this is fake news. The "R" signifies a pirate owns it - The end.

Aye,

One would imagine a pirates favorite letter would be R, but it has always been the "C".
