I'm guessing you meant BMS reset, not BCM?
The technician should have done that after replacing the battery.
Opps, yes, BMS reset. I don't believe the Tech did it and I told him I would when we talked at the end of the visit.. What's your experience on how long that actually takes? On my (2) Hybrid Mavericks, I generally started them in the evening, exited the vehicles, locked the doors and let it reset over night.

I always just use FDRS to reset the BMS. It sounds like you were able to get it to reset though if the battery light was flashing after performing the manual procedure.

OP here with update. I let the BMS complete overnight. Zero ‘low voltage’ or “check brake system” errors on the display.

A 2-hour drive today was uneventful, all is well again.
