My research has me believing that JKS max tire and 1.5 body lift. (No additional weight from bumpers, carriers, winch etc.) will clear 37’s and still have full articulation of the suspension and steering. Is this wrong?
I think this is correct.

And to the other poster- you will be waiting for the rest of your ownership. There aren’t other solutions. There’s no free lunch kids. You want to keep the OE Fox shocks, then you’re going to give up a little.

Some people will just use this for justification to do nothing at all.

You’re saying you want a solution that isn’t possible.

The answer is replace the shocks.

I didn’t do the body lift because I didn’t want the gaps. That’s literally the only reason. It’s otherwise the only other alternative worth considering.

Mind you- if you keep those stock foxes and add a bunch of weight with bumpers and winches it’s over. They ARE position sensitive and that has to do with valving.

I’ll say again- there is no free lunch.

Pick your compromise, whichever impacts you the least, and get moving.

Or complain forever that everything is a compromise and do nothing while you wait for a solution that is never coming.

Thank you. I think for my use the bumper relocation brackets and body mount rock sliders should keep it looking nice.

Totally agree that it seems all other options to keep the Fox shocks negatively affect ride and performance. Which contradicts the reason I chose a Wildtrak.

I will go down the path of ADS when the FOX shocks need to be replaced.

I feel this is the best option if wanting to keep the stock ride of the Fox 3.0 but add some height to your WT. I could be wrong, but I have looked at every option mentioned in this thred, and it seems this one fits the bill for me, from there, its on to a new set of coilovers, which I will do down the road, but not yet. 🍻

And I now it says it doesn't fit HOSS 3.0, but it does, many have installed this kit without issues.

I wouldn't trust rough country to have done anything but verify it fits. Rough country has released lifts for the non-sas broncos that exceed the CV angle of operations so this is sketchy at best.

Maybe, but it is hard to ignore that many have had this kit installed since '22 and also have been off road without issue. Like I said, it's an option.

I’d go with the Zone 2.25” lift over this even though you will still need to get a rear track bar drop bracket. Zone combined a very small spring perch collar along with a top hat spacer to keep the shock in its intended ride zone while not over extending the CV angles, I believe this is the best way to go about it, there is a reason it’s a 2.25” lift and not a 2.5” lift for the Hoss 3.0 specific kit, and there is a reason it uses both a perch and top hat spacer to accomplish the lift.

Unless you’re really going to be doing some serious rock crawling this should work for most folks wanting a bit more height.

Other than that what others here said I believe is correct, anything more than 2”-2.5” your not going to do well retaining the Fox Wildtrack shocks, if these could be re-valved and tuned then that would be a different story but from what I understand these are not serviceable. If you want more height than that your better off selling them to someone with a non-SAS Bronco and putting that $$ forwards new coil-overs that are tuned to provide some lift and will provide a better ride than with any
of these kits. Your still going to need to keep your CV angles in check so your really limited on how high you can safely go without investing in long travel systems or Portals.

Still sounds like body lift is a better option 🤷‍♂️

Body lift or RPG or shock replacements. That’s all I would do.

Having “been off road” isn’t much of a qualifier as far as I can tell. It’s about the shit you break off road and did you get back.

Pack the top of the shock and you WILL increase your CV angles and you increase your risk of trail damage.

Whatevs- you’ve got my point of view.

Good luck!

Do you have a part number or link to the zone 2.25 you mention? I couldn't find anything on their site, just wanted to see what you were describing. Thanks!

My understanding is that the Zone 2.25" kit basically just brings the Wildtrak up to the same height as the Badlands. Since the back is only 1", is it necessary to add a track bar relocation bracket?

I'm curious why this kit is not more liked in this thread, it lifts the truck and maintains the Fox shocks sweet zone. Am I missing anything?

It’s a pretty new kit I don’t think a lot of folks are running it yet. There is one I saw in another thread that installed it and liked it, none of these are ideal outside of new coil-overs but I think this kit is a good option for the Hoss 3.0 Fox shocks, at least it appears they put some effort into maintaining the plush ride these shocks have, definitely not a solution for hard wheeling but I think it is a good effort.

Regarding the rear track bar relocation bracket it might not be “needed” but for me I want it spot on in factory spec.

I think a small Dif Drop might have been a good thing to add to this too but most kits in this lift range don’t include one so…

I had a Badlands on order, then the ‘23 WildTrak opportunity popped up. After hearing some stories of swaybar disco failure, plus the WT getting the BRaptor rack (37’s were always planned), as well as the Fox’s… I was good to make the switch and gamble on the Fox’s working in my plan. Worse case I sell them, which is what I did, and covered almost 1/3 the cost of ADS. I also used a RockJock track bar drop bracket… Currently it’s at 2.25” lift front and 1.5” rear with 37’s.

This is how it flexes with both sway bars still connected… I’d fully stuff the front with manual disco’s. I’m happy with the end result.
