Is it just me or does this look like a movie prop? I wonder if Ford just devised a placebo, lol.

Also, is it unusual for techs to come to your house/business to do this sort of fix? Glad for it, for sure.
Depends if your dealership has mobile repair service up and running. If they do, it wouldn't be unusual for them to come to your house and perform it.

Does this mean mine's not affected by this issue?
Build date: 2023 June

Doesn’t appear to be affected. The build date on the program only goes up until March of 2023

This shows up in my Bronco's profile now, but it's described as a "wiper motor replacement." The number (23B35) is the same.

.3? They can kiss my ass.

Remove lower steering shroud, update wiper motor software with flash box, reassemble shrouds, and use FDRS to clear codes 23B35C 0.3 Hours
That's truly criminal. .3 doesn't cover getting the vehicle into the shop, doing the paperwork, and then returning it to the lot yet alone doing any kind of repair. No wonder there are not many new techs entering the field.

You can bet the CEO pay will not be effected at all by the new contract. in fact, probably have to get a big increase to be sure to stay 2,000% higher than a peon working under them.

Yeah I'm assuming that's just a mistake. No part of the program includes replacement.

What I am confused about and truly curious is the sporadic production dates of the recall/repair.... I fully understand that there may have been a software or hardware change at a specific time.... where all vehicles would be on the list either prior to or after that date.... but his list is on again off again... were there two wiper motor subs that supplied half a year each???

How would the time of the year (production) change the wiper configuration file???? OR.... the hardware (ie motor) that required a different config file?

Yeah I can’t explain that at all. It is very interesting though.
My 22 does have this program, but has never had this issue at all 🤷‍♂️

I fall into the dates (built end of October 2022) and have definitely had the issue a few times.
Glad this is out there now.

I am in a similar boat I am guessing.... I am not in the effected dates but I only have 1200 miles and have not driven in the rain.... Not my daily.... It just seems odd though.... could have even been the sping manufacturer changed every 6 months or so.... Just seems odd.

How are you not in the range? Your sig shows a 1/11/22 build date which falls in the MY22 listing? Appears that every Bronco built other than those after March 17, 2023 are included??

Oh I read it wrong. I thought that first date said August 31 2022.
I just ran my VIN in Oasis, and it does show up for mine. But still have never experienced the issue.

These build dates don't even make any sense to begin with. They weren't building 2022's in August of 2021....? 2022 production didn't start until the end of December 2021
