Alright folks, here’s the deal. My “wife’s” custom order Badlands is on its way to Hawaii as I write this post. I ask our salesman about pricing and he said we’ll get it at MSRP plus an “E-commerce fee” of $5995. Has anyone heard of an E-commerce fee at a car dealership? If so, are there any ways around it? I’ve just been prepping to negotiate my butt off.
A couple side notes: 1) I spoke to another salesman at the same dealership who said all of their trucks, vans and SUVs have this same “E-commerce fee” of $5995
2) all of this dealerships retail order broncos have markup adjustments of at least $10k
3) I asked for a purchase agreement before hearing about the extra fee and the salesman looked lost and avoided the question lol so I haven’t signed anything except for the order form
4) I do live in Hawaii so maybe this fee is unavoidable but I have heard of several people on here who got their orders at MSRP at a different dealership. Unfortunately I didn’t see that thread until after my order was in production, should’ve done more research!
Any advice or feedback would be much appreciated!
