So, throwback to this thread where my dealer on multiple occasions did not update my bronco order (I actually have emails showing I submitted for a 4-door, it was changed to a 2-door and they never updated the order again after multiple requests and multiple confirmations by them that they did).
Where I'm at now is that out of spite I bought that 2-door and sold it the same day. Simply, I would have kept it but it does not fit our families needs and I couldn't justify keeping it as a hobby truck on the side.
What they did was offer me another customer's order who decided to not go through with it after the delivery constraints and then placed a secondary order in my name for "tracking changes" because the original order is not technically in my name but the OG customer's. It still makes no sense and I feel like I could lose the order if they just opt to sell it as I have no insight into the progress of that one.
I was passed along both orders and they both have Priority: 10, which if I'm not mistaken is at or below the priority of dealer stock?
I am grasping at straws here as I don't know if I'm getting jerked around or if this is all going to work out okay.
Orders below: (also Ford.com shows an order for me but I have no clue if this is my original order or either of these two orders below)
Name: New Bronco Order 2 (Replacement order given to me with an order code >6k)
Name: New Bronco Order (This is the most recent order placed in my name with an order code around 1k)
Does this make sense to anyone else here because if so, maybe I'm just too ignorant to figure it out.
