Have 4d installing the gearshade sub and the entire cargo area sound deadening next weekend. Realistically how many white clips should I expect to break?
@GroovyGeek you located near Boston by chance ?
Nope, West Coast. The most reasonable price I have seen on clips is here
https://www.fordgenuineautoparts.com/

And to be clear the white ones do not break. They are designed to separate. Then you pull out them out of the receptacles and put back together and reuse.

Just pulled the right rear panel on our 2d (prepping to install an OEM Fusion sub amp and Kicker 48CWRT674 6.75" subwoofer). This Harbor Freight Panel/Trim Removal Tool Set allowed me to remove the top clips with very little to no pulling on the panel itself. Started at the front passenger pillar, then worked towards the rear cargo area. Bent the upper part of the panel slightly more outward for easier access as I removed each clip . Was able to easily reach 3 of the 4 clips on the top part of the panel using the longer 19" trim tool. Used the shorter one on the last top clip by the rear cargo area. To clarify, I removed the 3 clips on the side of the passenger pillar first, the 4 top clips next, then the 3 orange clips in the rear. Zero damage to any of the clips.

For some reason the factory used (one-piece) blue clips in our panel. They look decidedly different from the two-piece, white W721378-S300 clips (referenced earlier in this thread). Unfortunately, the factory forgot to install one clip (by the rear seat floor area), so I have to order one. To my eyes, these blue clips look somewhat similar to the (one-piece?) white clips with the part number W713297-S300 also mentioned earlier in this thread; however, someone said they were too big. Not sure which one to order. Probably order one of each--lol!

.
I had blue clips on the passenger side and white clips on the driver side.

Are the white (W721378-S300) and "blue" clips interchangeable? If not, any idea what the part number is for the blue clip?

They seem to be interchangeable.

What year is your Bronco? My 22 definitely has the fragile 2 piece white ones. Wondering if for example you have a 23 and they changed the design to these blue ones due to failures and how much of a pain they are to get to click when putting the panel back on. If these are the new ones, I cant see why they would not work in place of the white style 2 piece. I also wonder what the part number for the blue ones to compare price.

It's a '23. 04/23 build/blend. Did you have the 2-piece white ones on the right, passenger side panel? GroovyGeek mentioned he had white on the left; blue on the right. I only pulled the right, passenger-side.

Went to the dealer this morning to try and order the blue clips. He looked for about 10-15 min. No-go. Used my VIN, but it still showed the 2-piece, white clips (W721378-S300) as the replacement clip. I need to put something in there, so went ahead and ordered it. 8 bucks! Crazy money for a small clip.

Correct, I pulled the passenger side (subwoofer panel) and actually broke a couple trying to reattach the panel. Those white clips to not like to grab when they are split apart. I almost wonder if its better to pull the piece out from the body side after your remove the panel, attach it to the panel side clip, then push the panel on. Cause trying to reattach the two clip halves sucks. If you ever end up finding the blue clip part number, post it in here. But Im guessing Ford did make a change then due to how fragile these things are. And guarantee the blue clips are less expensive because its not a two piece design.

All the clip drama aside, got the Fusion amp, Kicker subwoofer (6.75", 4ohm), and panel installed. Also used Forscan for the first time to make the ACM 727-01-01 change to turn-on the sub.

Big improvement---sounds great!

also broke my blue w721378-S300, thanks for supplying that PN.
Broke when installing sub and I can agree, it was worth the $12 clip 😁

I was reading another post and got the actual part number for the blue clips from an employee at a Ford dealership. He said they are only available by special order through the parts counter and not available online as they are too new.

Ha. Thx. I actually ordered more white clips. I have to say the white ones do break easily. But if they separate as designed as very easy to snap back I to place.

Does anyone know where to purchase these clips? This is a picture of the rear panel.

Not sure you need to buy these?

When I removed the rear Inner Plastic Panels for a Subwoofer install these White Clips/Tabs separated but did not break. The outer piece which stayed with the Panel when removed was taken off and snapped back into the other half.

When I put the panels back in the white tabs lined up and held as before.

Autozone has them - at least ones that look pretty similar and work.
