Tried those. They are too big and one piece, not two piece.
"too big" hmm. What the heck does that mean?

Dimensions that matter:
1) diameter of the hole the push pin plugs into?
2) thickness of the material the push pin plugs into?
3) How far above the flat surface (that the rubber part is sitting on) to the center of the pin that the doghouse snaps on?
4) diameter of the pins where the doghouse snaps on?

Start here. That will make your search much easier. And in the good old days, ITW Deltar were the guys making the pins.. not sure who is doing that now.

And do note, if the pins you have are "bigger" then then need to be, it may well be possible to shave them down to size if you are close (using a Dremel tool, or sandpaper / file, etc...) You only need to make two or three, not 300,000. I will say, if using the Dremel, do be careful.

Heck, for that matter... gotta drill press? You can center drill the broken pin, and use small bolt and lock nut and washer to perform the task. Keep the end goal in mind.

Too big means exactly that, too big to work for this panel. If you need specifics, #1,3, and 4 on your list.

As I said above this pin is Bronco specific in the Ford parts system. I’ve been waiting about a month for them to come in. While waiting I have tried various others that look close but no go.

I wouldn’t remove one of the rear quarter panels without having some on hand. I broke one on both sides and I was very careful with proper diagrams and trim tools.

I think your right, I ordered that part # but haven’t gotten them in yet. They show as the Bronco as being the only vehicle they are used in, so of course they are slow to be available. At first I ordered the other clip on the parts diagram, W718240-S300, but those are the orange one piece that are also on the panel. Those should be hard to break.
Can you please keep us posted when you receive the pins? Where did you order them from? It seems there are a number of "OEM" distributors that list it on their site. No pictures, of course. Are these pins really over $4 each?

Most clips from Ford come in a 4 pack so I’m assuming same here. Ya no pics because they are a new part. I got shipping notification this morning so I should know soon if they are the correct part, but they have to be. I’ll update.

So I ordered these about a month ago and they finally came in. I got a nut with built in washer, that I can’t remember being used anywhere on or behind the panels. I think I was sent the wrong part.

Yes, they sent the wrong ones. I just went back and checked inventory and took pick to add to the store.

Thanks @flip - grabbed a set since I am about to install the tow harness and likely will have at least one casualty.

Just to clarify, I'm putting this stuff on my site for reference, not trying to see something. A lot of the part descriptions and pictures, or lack there of, in the catalogues leave much to be desired.

Thank you Ksjrb03 and flip. Much appreciated that we have an answer.

@flip How many are in a bag?
They are sold individually but a full bag has 5 to a package. Some Ford hardware is packaged in multiples and sold individually, some bulk and priced per pkg. Then you have parts in single packages and take multiples per job.
