Insurance cost for 6 months

I discovered the hard way that what my policy listed as cost for a vehicle wasn't really that cost. Like you I had multiple cars, more cars that drivers, and my policy listed the cost of each. Money was tight and seeing the extra vehicle costing a significant amount, I dropped it expecting my policy to go down that much. But no, because the policy total was mostly covering the two drivers, they spread the amount accross the cars, but when the one came off the other cars got more expensive. It only saved me $17 per month removing that car rather than the $60 expected.

I have 4 drivers and 4 cars. Yes it has a lot to do with number of drivers in household vs number of cars. My total premium used to be significantly less untill my kids turned 16 then it went up. Doesnt matter if they were driving vehicle or not. Just matters that they have their licenses. They are put on policy as full time drivers. I have no choice because I have 4 cars. So the 331 I pay for my bronco now was even less 1.5 yrs ago before I had to add a 4th driver. My total 6 month premium is 1750 for 4 cars with full coverage. VW,TOYOTA,KIA,BRONCO ALL NEWER.

My advice, engage an insurance broker and let them check rates for you.

Do not be loyal to any insurance company, switch every year if you want.

Insurance companies aren't loyal to their customers, it's actually the opposite. The longer you stay with them the worse the deal you get. New customers pay less than loyal customers.

You want to jump on that new customer deal as often as possible.

I'm at 355 bucks per month right now for 10 months on 3 cars, one is my daughters and she is a younger driver with a newer car. I'm betting the Bronco will add about another $125-150 bucks a month onto that.

FWIW I also pay on 4 motorcycles and that ain't cheap either. My driving record is clean the last few years but before that ...... yikes !!!

Nov 21 to April 7 is not 6 months? It's not even 5. Probably why it is so cheap.

I apologize, it was the initial policy from when I purchased it. Here is my 6 mo policy

Hi everyone

I own a bronco wildtrak. Got It August 1st 2022. I am about to renew my insurance with Geico. I live in Miami . Never had an incident. 29 years old. Never have received a ticket or pulled over. Bronco has about 1,900 miles . They are charging me $889 for 6 months. Last year they charged me $880. I am curious. What are y'all paying ?

Am I paying too much ? Too little ? Just right?

Fellow Floridian here, our state is the second highest for car insurance rates if I’m not mistaken. When I moved here from Ohio our car insurance nearly doubled for my wife and I. No tickets ect.

You guys had me concerned so called insurance. Currently driving a Subaru Crosstrek, Bronco on a train almost here. Rate is going down for some reason to $681 per yr. Erie Insurance.

2023 Wildtrak 4 door I am at $459 for 6 months but I elect for higher coverage at 300/500/100 with a $500 deductible through KY Farm Bureau. It was lower, but we just dropped a vehicle from our policy so she is no longer considered my pleasure vehicle.

I quite understand the kids problem. Four cars and three kids. Then kid got accident.... I don't think I got over $2K for 6 months but came close. The $331 seems really cheap unless coverage is limited. At least in the states I live.

I don't have my Bronco yet but I sent the VIN to my agent when I got scheduled for production. My total cost is going to $480/Year. We already have four vehicles insured and one 18 year old driver.
