Insurance cost on Bronco?

I have a question and haven’t called my insurance yet but my renewal starts next month and I have 2024 Bronco big bend 4 door and the annual is 1327 and I have a 2023 Silverado crew cab 4x4 lt with a sticker of 7k more then the Bronco and the Silverado is 2387 a year.Are pickups that much more to insure?I have the exact same coverage on both.

Weird that my Bronco Badlands cost more to than the Jeep Gladiator that I traded. It was higher than any of the 4 Jeep vehicles that I have owned.

My '22 Bronco Sport and '16 F150 cost about the same
My '87 Bronco II is ... very cheap, but it's just insured for liability
My '23 Big Bend... costs more than all 3 of those added together

Doesn't help that I have a 17 year old, and my insurance carrier won't let me split him out on a single vehicle.

'24 GMC AT4 3500 and my '24 2 dr 2.7l Black Diamond are about the same, ridiculous as the GMC was 30k more and weighs twice as much.

I'm not sure about the accuracy of this statement, but I heard it here, so it must be true. It seems as if the Sasquatch Package in all it's 35 inch factory double locker lifted glory would be horrible to insure. However, the automatic transfer case allows it to be insured as an all wheel drive which insurance companies like due to slippery condition safety. Regular 4H/4L transfer case puts you in the irresponsible 4WD owners who break things so your gonna pay more. My insurance payment stayed the same from Explorer to Sasquatch Big Bend.

All our insurance went up 33% this year. The wife's 24 Aviator was double my 23 Wildtrak--until I added "custom equipment" coverage and now they're about the same. Insurance is our largest single monthly bill...

Mine was set to double in December and my agent couldn't find any better deals. Ended up dropping them and searching on my own, now paying 20% less than I was before the pending increase. Still way too much.

Just got our renewals. Our 2023 Wildtrax is $52 more than our 2023 F150. Same coverage. Both went up given the happenings of the past year, but no claims. Bronco coverage went up 20%; F150 coverage went up 25%. Going to shop around a bit but suspect all the rates jumped.

For what it's worth, my insurance on my 2024 Raptor went up about $85 a month (!, yes, over $1000 a year) versus my 2020 4Runner TRD Pro. I expected it to go up, but was honestly a bit caught off guard when I saw how bad the 6 month premium was.

Insurance is not comparable person to person,,car to car……dozens of factors go into rating. Location CREDIT driving history and coverage. Insurance rates are increasing quickly on all lines of business. Google insurance rate increases and spend hours reasons. It’s no secret.

Yeah rates very depending on a lot of factors.Im going to call my agent tomorrow I was just wondering why the truck is 1k more a year with the exact same coverage and both are leases.Are trucks more expensive to repair or are stolen more.Just trying to figure it out of curiosity.
