Yeah rates very depending on a lot of factors.Im going to call my agent tomorrow I was just wondering why the truck is 1k more a year with the exact same coverage and both are leases. Are trucks more expensive to repair or are stolen more.Just trying to figure it out of curiosity.
Every car / truck has different statistical factors.

I oive in Michigan that has some of the highest rates in the country due to no-fault.

my Bronco cost just under $800/every 6 months, just under $1600/year. About $80 more a year than the 2012 BMW it replaced.

One reason among the many other factors that can cause the difference between the Bronco and the pickup is that pickups are among the top vehicles stolen.

Aside from calling your agent, it would be good to compare the two vehicles coverage by coverage.

Comprehensive coverage covers fire, theft and vandalism.

I went through Costco Insurance (Connect). My insurance includes my '23 Bronco Big Bend Squatch and a '18 Toyota Corolla IM. My six month premium is $1,066.00.

I have a question and haven’t called my insurance yet but my renewal starts next month and I have 2024 Bronco big bend 4 door and the annual is 1327 and I have a 2023 Silverado crew cab 4x4 lt with a sticker of 7k more then the Bronco and the Silverado is 2387 a year. Are pickups that much more to insure?I have the exact same coverage on both.
I have 4 vehicles insured via State Farm and they are basically the same(Chicagoland super safe suburb):
2024 Bronco Big Bend
2015 VW Golf
2014 Infiniti Q60
2012 Nissan XTerra
car or SUV doesn't really make a difference it is all the driver.
Note: I did lower my deductible on the Bronco to $100 vs. $1000 via windshield breakage concern, which cost me $8/month.

My '22 Bronco Sport and '16 F150 cost about the same
My '87 Bronco II is ... very cheap, but it's just insured for liability
My '23 Big Bend... costs more than all 3 of those added together

Doesn't help that I have a 17 year old, and my insurance carrier won't let me split him out on a single vehicle.
My 23 OBX is $300.00 with a 17 yo.

Looks like I can save $50.00 per month with them. Thanks
